Can anyone help me find this very old song

Is a song that I believe was released between 1999 to 2001 by a British female vocalist I believe it goes like this i heard it from a show it was difficult to understand the lyrics as people where talking over

I'm sure they don't only have music on the programme that was released in that year. Therefore makes sense is could have been released any* time before* 2001!

Thank you everyone for the feedback when I meant very old i meant I haven't heard it in a very long time till I heard it recently it wa completely wiped from my memory I was kind of upset as it flooded with childhood memories I just wish I can find the song

I remember hearing that song around 2000 it was a new released track at that time that's why I am sure it was released around late 90s to 2001

it was playing in the Queen Vic in an episode I was watching on YouTube from 2001 you can just about hear stay/say part as people in the queen vic was overtaking making it difficult to hear

Use your Google microphone 'listen to a song' and sing the bits you remember , it may be able to pick up the sing you want
