Hello everyone. Greetings from sunny holiday. I am liking all the shoes! Since being away have heard the official news about his Purpleness' death. It is so very sad & is making me think lots about it & who was caring for his pain management professionally, where was his religious guidance, he must have been informed about the dangers of this drug, did he go straight to this drug? I know we might never know but it just seems so incredibly avoidable. To cheer me up my friend sent me this from when we went to see Prince at Hop Farm in 2011. I would like to share it with you guys. What an evening that was.

So I've been trying to stay off you tube because I tend to get distracted by all the videos - and then realise the kids have been causing chaos and it's a nightmare as I'm sure you all know, but today I stumbled on this press conference from 2009, and it really is worth taking out 20 minutes, very candid and he says he was at his happiest :)

Went into HMV today and they had loads of Prince stuff in there, even HitnRun! And dvds of SOTT, Under the Cherry Moon and even Graffiti Bridge. When I went in a few days after his death all they had was his greatest hits.

I may have bought a few purchases...

My Dad heard the news that he died this morning and sat down and cried. My mum says between me and him we'll keep Kleenex in business.

It's definitely been a tough year for losing great people!😥

Just been watching Harry Potter with my 2dss (finally!) and the amount of people in it who are no longer alive is staggering. Esp. Alan Rickman. He was amazing. I loved his voice.

I watched the recent BAFTAS and the list of pp who had died was staggering ( and upsetting ).

I had a second date with a guy last week and we were talking about music we liked. I said I really loved Prince ( he didn't, black mark straightaway...), and then, I couldn't help it, I started burbling on about how upset I was when he died and that he was the one person I was really dreading dying and how it's like losing part of your youth and got really tearful! Asked him if what is said made sense and he said "that's too deep for me". Not really sure what he meant by that but felt pretty stupid and also that maybe we're just not on the same wavelength.

Or maybe I just overreacted?

Destiny I don't think that there is a third date in there, is there? You need someone who gets the Prince thing or just lets you be in the Prince moment. Doesn't sound like he's a winner. Maybe you'll meet someone at the memorial Concert? If u r going, of course. Can't remember.sorry.
