I've been just listening to him too. The thing about his music is that is is so varied that there is something for every occasion so you can just listen to that and dont need anything else.

You're right he had a distinctive sound but every song was so different. You never get tired of listening to him.

Binders, me too, I feel like i love him even more after watching all this stuff about him and listening to so much more of his music. And I also think it's crazy that he didn't make a will, you would have thought he'd have sorted that out years ago.
I'm gonna get the Purple Rain DVD too cos the one thing that did annoy me a bit when I watched it at the cinema, was this group of women, my age, kept cackling with laughter at all the raunchy bits. I know it's a bit corny but I just wanted to quietly lust after Prince at his naughtiest and their laughing distracted me!

I went to see a friend in a production of Evita this evening and I thought it might take my mind off Prince for a few hours, but the very first bit is about the death of Eva Peron and the outpouring of grief from the public as she was such an adored celebrity, so there I was blabbing like a nutter right from the start, thinking about Prince!
