2014 was good for gigs for me, but I've got no one well-known on the horizon until March (Stranglers at the Roundhouse). Anyone got anything good coming up?

Thanks Chutes , looks interesting. I'm wondering about Tideschi Trucks at O2 in November too? Is O2 massive? silly question!

plusonemore · 17/02/2015 14:27

Yay I've booked Tedeschi trucks at indigo2 for November. Went for floor standing- looks like a good venue anyone been?

ChutesTooNarrow · 17/02/2015 15:12

Indigo is a nice size, I saw the Dandy Warhols there a few months ago Smile

The O2 complex is massive though, was quite amazed!

fake fesitival with DS and David Ford with DP in May :)

Went to see smallish band (but getting bigger) in a scuzzy venue a couple of weeks ago. They're called Bwani Junction. Am keeping an eye on when they're playing again - 'twas bloody brilliant.

Going to see social distortion at shepherds bush in may

Free Creche/Kidzone for Opera. If any body is interested we are looking into providing a free Creche/Kidzone at our Ukulele Opera in Dorset would that be of interest to anyone and help access to the opera.

Taking my girls to their first concert - mcbusted (lol). Also planning to go to wychwood festival.

TheWordFactory · 07/03/2015 10:19

We've got tickets booked for Noel Gallagher and Paloma Faith.

SymphonyofShadows · 25/03/2015 21:50

Indigo at 02 reminds me of the Roundhouse. I saw PiL there in December, was easy to drive and park rather than get the train, it was a freezing cold night.

I've just got tickets for Buzzcocks in Harpenden, which is funny as it's quite a staid town.

Ones I know about at the moment are Amanda Palmer at Hackney Empire, Helsinki in a London pub, Field Day (to see Patti Smith), Beans on Toast at a mini Festival in Chesham, Glastonbury and the Libertines at Ibiza Rocks and Reading. DCs will be coming to quite a few of them.

Have just bought 2 tickets for an intimate Fratellis gig in Glasgow in August to mark the release of their 4th album. My son is going to love me.......and I'm a little bit excited too Grin

SymphonyofShadows · 24/06/2015 16:49

I've just booked to see TRB (Tom Robinson). Quite excited as my 14yr old self wore out a vinyl copy of Power in the Darkness. I will also be making my annual pilgrimage to see Mr Rotten and the rest of PiL in Oct.

I been talked into Killing Joke at the Roundhouse now too, it was going to be a quiet year gigwise, but it's shaping up to be anything but.

I can highly recommend Buzzcocks, saw them last night and they were as tight as hell.

OrangutansOnAppleTrees · 15/08/2015 20:16

Going to see Duran Duran in December and a-ha next year.
Have seen Morrissey & Billy Idol this year.

SymphonyofShadows · 09/09/2015 13:19

Very jealous about some of these! Just found out that the Blockheads are playing near me next month, I'm so excited as I absolutely love Norman Watt-Roy. I saw the Wilko Johnson film recently too, that was great but quite 'arty'.
