2014 was good for gigs for me, but I've got no one well-known on the horizon until March (Stranglers at the Roundhouse). Anyone got anything good coming up?

The Decemberists in February. Ummed and arred over Ryan Adams the week before but was stunned at the ticket price and it's sold out now.

Have also just bought weekend tickets for the Common People festival as its local. The line up is announced later, it had better be good!

Sounds great. I think the nearest festival type thing to me is Tringfest or the London ones, nothing more local. We do have a great local music scene though and some good venues.

Foo Fighters in May and then Glastonbury in June, that's all we've got booked so far this year.

ReindeerBollocks · 01/02/2015 20:38

localgirlinthephotograph · 01/02/2015 20:40

Sorry Chutes, am seeing Ryan Adams next month. DH is a huge fan and has been before but it'll be my first time. Our tickets were about 33 I think. Nothing else booked yet. Vienna, how much are/were the Neil Diamond tickets?

DealForTheKids · 01/02/2015 20:42

Belle and Sebastian in May :-)

vienna1981 · 01/02/2015 20:43

Localgirl. I admit I don't know ! I haven't looked into it yet. It will be a lot for me though coz my salary is crap. Details should be on FDA website.

I LOVE the Shins little, as much as a teenager loves one direction. It's probably not healthy Grin

I will see the Decemberists on Saturday, I'm excited. Enjoy Ryan Adams localgirl I saw him a few years ago, with the cardinals, and he stomped on stage and played for over two hours, it was magical.

I did not know belle and Sebastian were touring, off to investigate...

plusonemore · 16/02/2015 16:39

Don't suppose any of you could help me find a gig to treat hubby to for his birthday? He's 40 next month but it could be for anytime this year, anywhere in UK. He likes blues, bit of folk- faves are Tom Waites, Lucinda Williams, Richard Thompson but I've already searched for them. Any ideas gratefully received! !!Grin

ChutesTooNarrow · 16/02/2015 18:29

Purbeck Folk Festival plusonemore? I've not been but friends go every year and rate it highly.

MegBusset · 16/02/2015 18:36

Jesus & Mary Chain next weekend.

Mogwai and The Replacements in June.
