Hmm, interesting and bizarre sounding theory. Satanism in music.

I randomly stumbled across someone discussing this on here so I did alot of research and the findings have actually been quite shocking, it would seem tha a lot of celebs beyonce rhianna and jay z all seem to openly worship, from their hand gestures to what they wear etc.

I am fully aware this sounds totally bizarre and I assure you I am not insane, but have a Google and post your feed back. (can't do links as I'm on mobile) :)

I'm beginning to think wind up now.
How can anyone take this seriously.

pinkfluffyprincess · 20/03/2011 19:06

Like I said, I think they think they are amassing followers to prepare for the end of days. At the end people have to choose between good and evil, so it says. That's what I think they are attempting

Thanks, AyeRobot. I know it comes from a political angle, but when did all the teenagers use it so openly for just teh music industry or do they mean much more than that when they say that JayZ is Illuminati and so are the other Illuminati puppet artists. It seems like they do understand the wider political implications. Interesting that it has also become so manifest, just like the satanic symbols themselves.

sjm123 · 20/03/2011 19:08

So, it boils down to your religious beliefs then PFP.

pinkfluffyprincess · 20/03/2011 19:09

I'm not religious really. I'm describing what I think they think

pinkfluffyprincess · 20/03/2011 19:09

A NEW THREAD? I'm bloody knackered!!!!

ShinyMoonInAPurpleSky · 20/03/2011 19:10

What would they be saying about Satan?

If it's everything that I was ever told as the child of a non-practising catholic (or as Dara O'Brien would say "A bad catholic" Grin) then it would be that he is there to tempt you but god gave you free will and it's your choice what you do. I would then point out the benefits of not being in prison for committing cannibalism or a virgin sacrifice.

If it was "Come join us and sacrifice a virgin" then I would be telling my child in no uncertain terms that no, that's not what we do in this house because it's naughty (and illegal).

Seeing a couple of hand gestures however is not talking to someone about Satan. It's dancing. Unless my child meets someone like you who will then tell him that the dancing is actually some secret Satan symbol used to recruit him into some mysterious plan, he is not going to know.

colditz · 20/03/2011 19:10

As an athiest, I have no more belief in the validity of the christian religion than I do in satanism. I judge people for their behavior, not their beliefs. I don't care if someone is a racist sexist bigot in his head as long as his behavior is equal and courteous at all times.

And as for being 'tricked' into making satanic symbols - nobody has a gun to their heads. I'm sure that their god as they believe in it will forgive them their ignorance. And anyone who isn't religious won't give a crap.

colditz · 20/03/2011 19:11

And just as a heads up - this thread will stop accepting posts at 1000 messages. It's not the Illuminati running Mumsnet.

AyeRobot · 20/03/2011 19:12

I think they are using it in a broader sense because the Illuminati has become an internet meme, so they come at it from all angles. They just have more knowledge about music than the original spreaders. And kids love all that stuff which is hidden and not understood by their parents. Just like Lolcats spread like wildfire.

pinkfluffyprincess · 20/03/2011 19:12

Just because he wouldn't know what it meant doesn't make it right. A 2 year old doesn't know what the middle finger means but you wouldn't make them do it

nenevomito · 20/03/2011 19:12

Here's whats going to happen if lots of people make those symbols...

But how do you know Colditz??? Maybe that's just what they've always told you but really if a thread ever gets to 1001 posts the whole world will vanish.

Maybe that's why bottles of 1001 make stains dissapear?

It's a conspiracy I tell you!

pinkfluffyprincess · 20/03/2011 19:14

Just to sum up then, we are still right

pinkfluffyprincess · 20/03/2011 19:14

Absolutely right

pinkfluffyprincess · 20/03/2011 19:14

100% right

pinkfluffyprincess · 20/03/2011 19:15

As right as anyone could ever be

pinkfluffyprincess · 20/03/2011 19:15

And

pinkfluffyprincess · 20/03/2011 19:15

that
