Hmm, interesting and bizarre sounding theory. Satanism in music.

I randomly stumbled across someone discussing this on here so I did alot of research and the findings have actually been quite shocking, it would seem tha a lot of celebs beyonce rhianna and jay z all seem to openly worship, from their hand gestures to what they wear etc.

I am fully aware this sounds totally bizarre and I assure you I am not insane, but have a Google and post your feed back. (can't do links as I'm on mobile) :)

Not "people like me". I don't believe in any of that, it was all tat. But this is glaringly obvious, and there are no proper explanations forthcoming

claig · 20/03/2011 13:52

'And lots of people like you thought the world was going to end on New Years Day 11 years ago.'

I didn't believe that and I didn't believe we would all die from swine flu. It was the same people who warn us of 'climate catastrophe', of the swine flu 'pandemic', who warned us of the Millenium Bug. It was people like Al Gore and the BBC. I knew it wasn't true as I am sure did the wise young man on WildUncutTV.

claig · 20/03/2011 13:57

'So what was the real reason he said it if you know so much? Or is this another thing that you won't tell us?'

It's a long story, it's not just Bowie. But it would only lead to another 22 pages of piss taking by those who know not what they do, and one page of golden nuggets. Which reminds me, I am getting rather peckish.

ShinyMoonInAPurpleSky · 20/03/2011 13:58

But lots of people had found "evidence" of it just like the people you have found on the internet supporting your theories. What made that tat but this true?

ShinyMoonInAPurpleSky · 20/03/2011 13:59

Claig unless you start telling people what you "know" that the rest of us don't your arguments won't gain any credibility.

"Because I said so" isn't really a valid argument as many of us have pointed out.

Virgowoo · 20/03/2011 14:00

Exactly ShinyMoon, I think we'd all like to get to the crux of why they pick and choose their evidence. Not that there will be a straight answer.

claig · 20/03/2011 14:02

'But lots of people had found "evidence" of it just like the people you have found on the internet supporting your theories. What made that tat but this true?'

There's the rub. That is where wisdom comes into it. You can't buy it, you can't just believe the BBC, they won't give it to you. You have to be able to sort the wheat from the chaff, the truth from the lies, the David Cameron from the Gordon Brown.

NiceBlackEyes · 20/03/2011 14:02

I believe in nothing. I am an Unbeliever. I do believe this thread is a load of dogs pods though. It has kept me amused all morning.

Rohanda · 20/03/2011 14:05

such a devil.

ShinyMoonInAPurpleSky · 20/03/2011 14:05

"You have to be able to sort the wheat from the chaff" yeah and it helps that they have now been proved wrong (because the world didn't end) so you can safely say it was all bollocks.

pinkfluffyprincess · 20/03/2011 14:06

The straight answer is just that it's obvious, for all the reasons we have already said. There is absolutely no reason to have satanic imagery flashed in your videos, and little hints, unless they have bad intentions. Especially as a devout Christian wouldn't do it for fame or money. You can't just dismiss everything out of hand with no evidence to refute it

Virgowoo · 20/03/2011 14:07

MrsBaphomet, welcome.
Not quite sure who your message was aimed at, but welcome anyway.

If you're new, you might want to check out your local page - not sure if there is one for a imaginary anti-muslim constructions. Get in touch with HQ if you think they're missing a group.
HTH.

claig · 20/03/2011 14:07

It's called judgement and it is forged by experience. I didn't believe in the Millenium Bug, I didn't believe in the bird flu and swine flu pandemics, I didn't believe we had "only 50 days left to save the planet", I don't believe "Go nuclear, save the planet". The people who told you that never apologised, they just carried on as usual, dropping whopper after whopper, and you sucked it up.

Satanic signs are flashed in your faces and you think it's normal. Please stop listening to Andrew Marr and start listening to the man on WiseUncutTV.

ShinyMoonInAPurpleSky · 20/03/2011 14:09

And in nearly 60 years of Satanic images in music this plan still hasn't come into action.

Don't they realise that all of their early recruits will be too old to join in if they wait any longer?

claig · 20/03/2011 14:11

Rome wasn't built in a day. They build their edifice one brick at a time. They told you about bird flu, then it was swine flu. Who knows what it will be next?

pinkfluffyprincess · 20/03/2011 14:11

I didn't believe any of that neither. And I don't think Satanism is a run of the mill thing. Your denials are all part of "it" anyway, I'm sure.
Why don't you take your children and pray to Satan now. It's nothing, right? What Jack Black did was no biggie, it's all good fun.

ShinyMoonInAPurpleSky · 20/03/2011 14:12

Ah but could it be that there is no scientific fact or theory behind this Satanic thing whereas the Millenium Bug, bird flu and swine flu pandemics, only having 50 days left to save the planet and "Go nuclear, save the planet" have tonnes of scientists putting forth actual evidence or at least well educated theories?

So you can safely argue away knowing that there will never be anything scientific to prove you wrong?

ShinyMoonInAPurpleSky · 20/03/2011 14:13

Pink, if you aren't religious why does Satan bother you so much?

pinkfluffyprincess · 20/03/2011 14:15

Science, rationality. Theories only come about when you have the tools to accumulate data. Nobody will be interested in researching religious beliefs and their validity on a massive scale now, Science needs to be the new religion.

claig · 20/03/2011 14:16

I don't need science to see that they are flashing satanic signals at me in their videos. I'm not dumbed down enough not to notice the lemmings making their 'One Eye' signs in JayZ's 'Forever Young' video.

I trust my own intellect, I don't trust that "there are only 50 days left to save the planet" whether Rocafella tells me or Gordon Brown tells me.

ShinyMoonInAPurpleSky · 20/03/2011 14:17

But science doesn't believe in symbols being dangerous. So it isn't concerned by a couple of dance moves or pictures.

claig · 20/03/2011 14:18

Tony Blair told us he was a 'straight kinda guy'. I always had my doubts.

pinkfluffyprincess · 20/03/2011 14:18

Satan doesn't bother me, they can all fuck off sideways for all I care. It's immoral what the artists are doing, they are decieving young people, making them do hand signs pretending they are innocent. That concert probably had many religious young people in attendance, it's sickening what they were led into doing

Virgowoo · 20/03/2011 14:19

ShinyMoon They will argue in the face of scientific evidence that their POV is correct because the party presenting the evidence has 'an agenda'. But wont provide any reasoning behind that. Paranoia.

I'm recovering from 3 months of explaining to berks that snow does not equal global warming being a myth.

ShinyMoonInAPurpleSky · 20/03/2011 14:19

If science is the new religion then you have even less of an argument.

Unless...NO! It can't be...wait I've got it!

I now know the answer :P

[sings] I know something you don't know!!
