Hmm, interesting and bizarre sounding theory. Satanism in music.

I randomly stumbled across someone discussing this on here so I did alot of research and the findings have actually been quite shocking, it would seem tha a lot of celebs beyonce rhianna and jay z all seem to openly worship, from their hand gestures to what they wear etc.

I am fully aware this sounds totally bizarre and I assure you I am not insane, but have a Google and post your feed back. (can't do links as I'm on mobile) :)

As far as I can see, the only things they all have in common are the fact that none of them can sing.

So really, they must have sold their soul to the Devil to get to where they are now. Maybe we are all looking into this a little too much and they are just Thanking Lucifer for his helping hoof into the music industry which seems to be the perfect place for said Dark Lord to reside and chillax.

It would certainly explain the noise that is now passed as music.

I mean lets face it, The Red One must be getting up to retirement age now, he may even have his busspass already so he's mearly taking a hobby a little more seriously now as he is no longer managing the Seven Circles (8 if you want to include baby and toddler groups).

The girl who asks the question on yahoo answers thinks it is about suicide and says that is how she feels when she listens to it. I wouldn't be surprised if that is the intention. It is an unrealistic message of hopelessness, dressed up as being glamourous and living life as on a video screen.

pinkfluffyprincess · 20/03/2011 08:47

That makes sense. I believe it's a double message, also celebrating Jay Z becoming "Young" the name, which must symbolise his own rebirth into all this "stuff". Before that tune his lyrics were just loads of showing off, some talk of his childhood, women, typical hip hop stuff. None of this dark buisness. I always thought it was a sad, though in a way beautiful, song

claig · 20/03/2011 09:20

The emphasis on 'young' is interesting. 'Young B' and him. They are reborn 'young'. But young is childlike, it is naive, it is without knowledge of life. He doesn't want to grow older and learn life's real lessons, he wants to stay in this cocooned state of being 'young' forever. He doesn't seek to gain the wisdom of an adult, he prefers the video screen false world of remaining forever young.

His songs are full of messages and symbolism. It is creepy to see all those lemmings in the audience, also forever young and naive, making their pyramid sign or whatever that sign is.

"The technicoloured nine headed, four arsed hellbeast of awesomeness"

Brilliant Grin

ShinyMoonInAPurpleSky · 20/03/2011 09:58

So reference to "young" are now part of the grand master plan?

Bloody hell! Even guy's in on it then!

melpomene · 20/03/2011 10:03

Jay Z's 'Forever Young' is based on 'Forever Young' by Alphaville from 1984. I just looked up the lyrics to the Alphaville version (which I am old enough to remember from first time round) and found that it contains the line "I don't want to perish like a fading horse". OMG it's a pale horse reference!

Except for some reason the horse line is not included in the Jay-Z lyrics. Surely if he was a satanist it would've been included. Or could it all be... a combination off coincidence and attempts to appear controversial and edgy?

claig · 20/03/2011 10:06

No, Shiny, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. You have misconstrued. Donny is nothing like JayZ.

ShinyMoonInAPurpleSky · 20/03/2011 10:09

Phew! Thanks for clearing that up claig!

dancingmummy · 20/03/2011 10:13

So glad I'm not the only person to have stumbled across these stupid sights!! I think what's most worrying is the millions of posters on there that seem to honestly believe it's true!!! I had to stop reading as it freaked me out lol. The most recent one I saw was an attack on Willow Smith! Confused

dancingmummy · 20/03/2011 10:13

The forever young is a Dr. Faustus like pact with the devil, a bit like Oscar Wilde's 'The Picture of Dorian Gray', with Lord Henry playing the role of the devil's representative, Mephistopheles.

claig · 20/03/2011 10:18

could you please supply the link for Willow Smith, that sounds interesting, and who is he and what does he do, apart from making signs of the 'One Eye'?

ShinyMoonInAPurpleSky · 20/03/2011 10:24

Ah Dorian Gray...I read that as part of my English Lit A-levels and while it was a good story I was left feeling like we had been cheated out of an explanation. Was it religious, supernatural or scientific? As I recall the book never gave a definitive answer but of course the characters could only turn to religion as an explanation. I think that considering the struggle that was going on at the time with Science Vs Religion, Oscar Wilde did a great job of making people question themselves and their beliefs.

dancingmummy · 20/03/2011 10:25

Oh, you are all serious.... just google "Willow Smith illuminati" , the link I found was months ago.

Sorry, I have to clarify. Am I right in saying you ALL believe in the devil and these people are serving the devil? So for example you believe the utter bullshit that Kanye West sacrificed his own mother for fame etc?!

dancingmummy · 20/03/2011 10:27
claig · 20/03/2011 10:30

dancingmummy, there are only 3 of us who are right in believing that there is something in this. But as you say, there are millions on the internet, outside of Mumsnet, who are also aware of it. I hadn't heard about Kanye West, and will have to study that further.

I, personally, don't believe in the devil, and I don't think these people are really serving the devil. I think they use the imagery and symbolism of the devil for entirely different purposes than worship.

dancingmummy · 20/03/2011 10:31

What purposes?

claig · 20/03/2011 10:34

dancingmummy, it was difficult to fully understand that guy's case on Willow Smith being an illuminati puppet, because it was replete with so many f words, that I couldn't maintain the thread. However, he obviously knows more about it than me, because I thought Willow Smith was a bloke. I would have to say that therefore the case is still open.

claig · 20/03/2011 10:35

dancingmummy, for the purposes, you will have to read the whole thread. Try to skip over the piss taking by those who know not what they do, and look for the nuggets of wisdom.

dancingmummy · 20/03/2011 10:36

Oh, sorry- it was literally the first link I stumbled across.

What I'm genuinely curious about is what purposes you think these people are using symbolism for?!

dancingmummy · 20/03/2011 10:38

Oh sorry posted before I refreshed...Not sure I can get through 23 pages of scaremongering to be honest.

claig · 20/03/2011 10:38

dancingmummy read the thread. Skip over the 95% piss taking by the "forever young" and seek the truth

ShinyMoonInAPurpleSky · 20/03/2011 10:39

So are we all dancingmummy but all they keep saying is that there is a "plan" and that we won't know until it happens.

Suggests to me that they don't know either. They just want to put the shits up everyone else.

claig · 20/03/2011 10:40

there are 22 pages of piss taking by those who know not what they do, and there is one page of illumination
