Old one back definitely. I hate the new one.

Bowlersarm · 26/08/2014 21:24

Not me.

I love the new layout.

Pleeeeeeaaaasssse DON'T go back.

Cherriesandapples · 26/08/2014 21:29

I just want the adverts removed and the light grey fonts removed as they are annoying and as I have eyesight problems I need clarity and as much space as possible to read something. The white text on blue background was really easy on the eye ( note 1 eye so I don't need the strain of wearing it out! )

RubyGoat · 26/08/2014 21:42

Don't know, I'm a bit torn really...

On the one hand, I don't like the new layout. I had a major headache the first day they rolled out the new layout, no doubt caused in part by the nasty glarey white background. Not all the features work on my tablet. Almost none of them work on my mobile phone, rendering MN completely inaccessible to me while out & about.

On the other hand, I am getting more sleep & more done around the house as I've barely been on MN in the last couple of days.

Lweji · 26/08/2014 21:48

I'm ok with the layout as such. I just think it's too heavy for my poor old iPod and it has a tendency to crash and it takes ages to load. Among other details. If these can be sorted, I'd be happy for the new layout to continue.

OohQuack · 02/09/2014 01:16

No. I quite like the new one

CillaBlacksOrangeBouffant · 02/09/2014 01:22

Yes. Back to the old version please.

rockpink · 02/09/2014 01:25

Back to original version please. Is this a proper MN survey?

wafflyversatile · 02/09/2014 01:27

I'm on desktop site as the mobile site is unworkable.

MrsCakesPrecognition · 02/09/2014 01:30

I like the new version on my tablet. But it really struggles on my phone - mostly I end up with adverts top and bottom and no actual content.

But overall I prefer the new site.

Cocothecat · 02/09/2014 01:56

No. New one is better

DoristheCamel · 02/09/2014 02:15

I am still on the old one.
Was I supposed to download something cos I haven't abd am wondering why I am still on the old one with mixed feelings.

Total technophobe.

AGnu · 02/09/2014 02:49

I miss the old one. Sad

mrssprout · 02/09/2014 02:54

Can't see it happening, but........yes please !

MiscellaneousAssortment · 02/09/2014 03:03

I'd be fine with a new version, just not this new version. I'm using the desktop version on my mob now, the headaches and difficulty in tracking where you are and who's posting etx, is just insummountable.

rockpink · 02/09/2014 09:57

Back to old one, this is too bright and hurts my eyes!

neolara · 02/09/2014 10:00

After MN fixed lots of bits, I really like it. (Although is it now possible to enlarge pictures without the ads getting so big they block everything out? It would be great if we could.)

Trills · 02/09/2014 20:33

Definitely an improvement

I'd still prefer a clearer colour distinction between OP's posts, my posts, and other posts though.

VelvetEmbers · 02/09/2014 20:51

I've got a huge advert across the top, and now when I read threads I get adverts in between the posts. I hate it.

rockpink · 02/09/2014 22:57

Please, at least remove the bloody adverts in between the posts.
Or admit to thinking about selling a subscription only, ad-free mumsnet.

footflapper · 07/10/2014 13:51

Has the survey closed?
I prefer the old mumsnet mobile site..

poolomoomon · 08/10/2014 15:29

ME.

ElephantsNeverForgive · 08/10/2014 15:37

It's ok, the blue buttons at the bottom are too big and too bouncy, because of the way an iPhone puts up it's own pg. back etc bar.

A reversed night reading mode like iBooks has would be lovely.

Ads are a pain, but I suppose they pay the bills.

SpringHeeledJack · 08/10/2014 15:39

I love the new site

(on a Nokia Mum)

SpringHeeledJack · 08/10/2014 15:40

that's my phone model, btw

not a new category used by PR companies etc

as far as I know
