Created for Uniqlo

We’re recruiting 150 UK-based Mumsnet users to test Uniqlo’s AIRism Sanitary Shorts.

  • Selected testers will receive two pairs of Uniqlo Sanitary Shorts
  • Testers will be asked to feed back via a thread and survey after about four weeks
  • All testers who leave their feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one tester will win a £100 voucher from a store of your choice.

Here’s what Uniqlo has to say:
“UNIQLO is a clothing retailer from Japan with a philosophy of Lifewear. LifeWear is clothing designed to make everyone’s life better. It’s simple, high-quality, everyday clothing with a practical sense of beauty. It’s ingenious in detail, designed with life’s needs in mind and is always evolving.

UNIQLO’s Sanitary Shorts use their AIRism technology and a three-layer construction for total confidence. These sustainable absorbent briefs are good for your body and good for the environment.”

If you’re interested in taking part, sign up here.

Thanks and good luck!

I’m really surprised by the personal details given alongside the reviews on their website, eg weight and even shoe size why include it for reviewing pants - strange!

JulesRimetStillGleaming · 20/02/2022 04:34

Wish I'd read the reviews before signing up. It seems they come up small. I wish I'd gone a size bigger.

lljkk · 20/02/2022 07:07

Is it the same as wearing a nappy?

TheMissingMango · 20/02/2022 09:50

Sanitary shorts is a terrible name!

BestestBrownies · 20/02/2022 09:51

I was only looking at these yesterday! Would love to give them a try

@Ilikesweetpeas

Done, I’d like to try these! Have tried the cheap primark ones but I’d like to try better ones as those weren’t absorbent enough
I've found the Primark ones make me uncomfortably sweaty, they've been good for trying out period pants - to see if they are for me - but I'd like to try something else

Yes! Although I have bought another set from there which are made of a diff material, so hoping they'll be nicer

@Tippytaps

I’d love to try them but I am not comfortable with completing a form that links my “usual mumsnet name” to my address.

Is it okay to create a new username and review under that?

Hi @Tippytaps,

Thanks for your question! Yes, you can change your Mumsnet username before signing up to take part and before giving feedback, if you're selected Smile

Done! I have been wanting to try pants like these for ages to see if they work for me but the market is just so big and confusing!

Choconuts · 23/02/2022 10:08

I've signed up I suffer from endometriosis and irregular bleeding so having these to wear on days where I am worried about starting bleeding would be great! It's something I've wanted to try for ages but expensive if I don't like them!

McScreamysGhostPants · 23/02/2022 11:31

My 13 year old would LOVE to try these. She's a huge fan of Uniqlo and really struggles with her periods . She comes from a family where the women all suffer from endo, PCOS and fibroids and she bleeds quite heavily. This really affects her confidence, especially in school days.
