  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

I thought they were innovative in their packaging and loved how easy they were to open. The fact that it is pure fruit makes it a perfect choice for snacks on the go.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They loved it and were open to having it on the way back from school. Definitely a plus as they usually come out of school very hungry and ask for a sweet treat. They liked that you can open it so easily. My older one didn't like the fruit pouches as much but he has them all the same.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

Their favourite were the banana and strawberry yogurts.

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
On the way back from school, picnics, days out.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes I would

  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

I thought that the GoGo squeeze looked a lot like baby food – I thought that the kids would turn their noses up at this, but they didn’t. My older two loved the fruit pouches and we have taken them out on days out over half term and it was a really easy way of making sure the kids had a fruity snack. My youngest didn’t like the fruit pouches at all – but loved the yoghurt ones.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

My kids loved the lids – They referred to them as helicopter lids and proceeded to throw them around, they were mess free and tasted great!
I liked that they didn’t need to be kept on the fridge

  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

I thought the flavours were varied – I thought that the banana yogurt would not taste nice – however this was the kids favourite (3 kids, 4 banana yoghurts there was a fight for the last one!!!)

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

The kids have had these in the house as a snack between meals, we took them out to the zoo when we had a day out over half term – this was much better than carrying a piece of fruit, which always end up bruised and no one wants to eat it! My son took the last banana yoghurt in his lunch box today

  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

I would consider them a healthy snack and I would be happy to give them to the kids again

tandt5 · 31/10/2017 13:32
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
Initially I wasn't sure if my kids (who are 9 and 7) would like them as I thought they looked a bit babyish. I liked the idea that yogurt didn't need refrigerated. And of course convenient packaging makes it a great lunch box staple or snack on the go.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ? They were instant hit with both of my children. It was easy for them to open and made it an exciting part of their lunchbox.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite? Apple and strawberry was the favourite, mango less so. Both yoghurts I was told were all delicious.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child? I would say as part of the lunchbox, during a picnic or when out and about.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Absolutely. I would normally put a fruit in their lunchbox but very often it is either half-eaten or not eaten at all and would be wasted. With GoGo squeeze it hasn't happened, the packs were definitely squeezed till the last drop.
rhianp100 · 31/10/2017 14:13

MummyBtothree · 31/10/2017 14:41
  1. My children loved the yogurt variety but disliked the fruit ones - very much!. They usually like fruit and love smoothies but they said it was more like baby food out of a jar & I've got to say that I tried it too and also thought the same! Yuk. 2)They loved the yogurt variety especially the strawberry ones and found it a novelty having yogurt in pouches rather than out of the fridge.
  2. The banana flavour and the strawberry flavour were favourite.
  3. packed lunches & picnics
  4. Yes I would class them as a healthy snack and loved that they were full of goodness with no rubbish.

cocktailismyfavouritefilm · 31/10/2017 16:14
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

Seems like a good idea because they don’t need to be refrigerated.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

They liked that it was squeezy and a spoon isn’t needed.

  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

My children all liked the yogurts. Only one of them liked the fruit purée though. I think it’s because it’s an unusual texture.

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

Packed lunch. After school snack on way home. In the car. In a queue for a ride at a theme park.

  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

Healthier than crisps or sweets.

Tatiebee · 31/10/2017 17:36

Testers please tell us what you think by posting your answers to the following questions on the thread below.

  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

Convenient as they don't need to be refrigerated.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

That they could remove the lids themselves.

  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

They liked the strawberry yogurt but not the banana. All fruit pouches contain a lot of apple so they mostly taste the same.

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

On day trips or just to have in the changing back just in case.

  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack

Not necessarily healthy but better than crisps and sweets.

kim2006 · 31/10/2017 19:14

1.What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
The packaging is bright and both kids really like the lids as they could open it themselves, as other pouch products are hard for them to open. We liked that it didn’t need to go in the fridge and we could grab them and go. Loved the fact it’s made with 100% fruit and it one of your five a day.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They loved it, the yoghurts were thick and creamy and full of fruit flavour especially the banana one. They were very disappointed when all the yoghurt and fruit snacks were all gone. They have already asked me to buy some more.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
They enjoyed all the flavours but the banana yogurt was the best followed by the apple fruit.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
These are brilliant for on the go, especially as both kids have sports clubs straight after school so these were perfect. They have alway preferred a yogurt drink/ pouch before doing their sports but they couldn’t as especially in the hot weather they needed to be kept cool, so they were amazed that they could have a yoghurt that didn’t need to be keep in the fridge.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes I consider it a healthy snack, would definitely buy them
ChopperHopper · 31/10/2017 20:39
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
I like the packaging and the concept. I also like that they are much easier to open than other pouches.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
I have three children and they each had different views about the different fruits and yoghurts. They liked how easy they were to open and they thought they were really cool to look at.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
Apple and mango was the most favourite but each had their own preference. The least favourite fruit pouch of all was the Apple and Strawberry followed by Apple and nobody liked the banana yoghurt apart from me! I personally found the strawberry yoghurt very fake flavoured, but that's probably just me!
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child? As a post swimming snack or in the lunchbox
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack? Yes I would, but no different to the other fruit snacks available on the market really.
raffle · 31/10/2017 21:16
  1. In general we really enjoyed the GoGo squeez products. We liked that they are no fuss, no spoon or bowl needed, no sticky fingers or mouths!
  1. DS aged 4 was particularly pleased that he was able to open his own snack independently , like a big boy Smile
  1. Both of my boys liked all of the flavours sent. The purée fruit ones were the favourites.

4 These pouches are exactly the type of snack we look for when needing something quick, easy to eat and portable. We would use them out and about during the day, after swimming for example. And we would pack them when camping.

5 we would consider this product as a healthy snack in comparison to most of the snacks available from the vending machines at the swimming pool!

toopeoply · 01/11/2017 04:52

These have been a total success. They like the apple the best. Everyone from the 12 yr old down to the 1 yr old has enjoyed them. The pouches aren't too big, so I find there is no waste, even from the 1 yr old. Packaging is attractive and the children don't hesitate to choose one for an after school snack. I keep a couple in the car too, for emergencies.

SammyF1976 · 01/11/2017 05:54
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
They are a handy snack for the kids to put in a lunch box or for when we are out and about.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
My DD loved the yogurts but not the fruit pouches.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
DD liked all the yogurt flavours but strawberry was her favourite. She didn't like any of the fruit ones. Said it made her think of baby food! Think it was the texture!
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
Probably as a snack in her lunchbox.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes as a different alternative to whole fruit (although not for my DD as she didn't like them).
Cheguevarahamster · 01/11/2017 07:12

.What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
Nice packaging. Its a plus that they don't need to be stored in the fridge and so are handy for out and about. The lid was good.
2. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They liked the lid and the packaging.

3. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
My two only tried the strawberry yogurt and the apple and strawberry. They refused to try the others. They liked (but not loved) the strawberry yogurt. My elder son liked the apple and strawberry, but the younger (6) said that it tasted "Mouldy". I tasted it and found it bland and the texture was terrible.

4. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
a snack on the way home from school; out and about.

5. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes

Would I buy them in the future? Probably not.

McMumface · 01/11/2017 11:01
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
It seems like a good idea for quick healthy snacks/lunchbox idea.Good range of flavours.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
If I’m honest,my children weren’t too keen on them and preferred to have real fruit in their lunchboxes. They preferred the yoghurts after being kept in the fridge.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
My son thought the banana yoghurt was okay,my daughter wasn’t a fan of any of them
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
I could see these being good as snacks for younger children but mine(age 8 and 9)found them a bit ‘baby-ish’for them...sorry!
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?Yes I would and would be a good alternative if a child is reluctant to eat fruit.
midgetgem2211 · 01/11/2017 11:15
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
I liked the packaging and the fact it didn't need to be kept in the fridge
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
The ease of eating it
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
Not sure on some of them but the ones with strawberry went down well
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
Yes if it was reasonably priced
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes as it is fruit based.
lbmum · 01/11/2017 11:36
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
Liked the packaging, easy to open, kids wanted to get stuck into them when they arrived.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
Unfortunately they didn't really like the taste of either the yougurt or fruit ones. I think the fruit ones had a finny texture to them, they were in between lumpy and smooth which I think put them off. I tried it too and have to admit I agree.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
The apple one got the most eaten but none were finished.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
No because they didn't like them.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
In moderation, yes.
ponygirlcarcass · 01/11/2017 11:43

We have been making our way through these for over a week now.

1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
Overall I think they are pretty good. I really liked the opening mechanism, DS could manage it fine on his own - I work in a school and loads of kids that bring the yoghurt tubes can't open them themselves or burst it open and get it all over themselves. Plus DS could reclose it over - again, I see yoghurt pot lids bursting open in packed lunches and going everywhere! I also really liked that they didn't have to be kept in the fridge.

2. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
They liked the taste and were excited to take something a bit different to school for their snack. They talked to their friends about them.

3. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
Definitely preferred the yoghurty ones - and I was surprised that DS preferred the Banana one, I thought he would like the Strawberry one better. He said he liked the smoothie ones but any time I gave him one it came back unfinished - they were extremely sweet and quite thick, I think he found them too much.

4. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
I gave him the smoothies after school as a snack (although he didn't finish them), and he took the yoghurt ones to school for his mid-morning snack, they went down well.

5. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
Yes, although concerned about the amount of fruit sugar in the smoothie ones. Definitely preferred the yoghurt ones.

Thanks for letting us test them, the yoghurt ones were a bit hit. Smile I would consider buying them in the future.

rosybell · 01/11/2017 14:45

In general I liked the packaging and the fact that my kids could open them themselves.

My children loved the yoghurt ones but were not as keen on the fruit ones. The fruit ones were like 'baby food ' apparently! The strawberry yoghurt was their faveourite.

I would buy them for lunch boxes but not for snacks around the house.

I would say yes they are a healthy snack.

yummytummy · 01/11/2017 18:02
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

i liked the packaging but the kids were slightly put off as they said it looked like baby food pouches. easy to open though. and a bonus they don't need to be kept in fridge

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

they liked the easy open top and convenience for packed lunches
they preferred the yogurt ones and definitely not so keen on the fruit ones. felt the fruit ones were too sweet

  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

they didn't like the apple flavours but preferred the strawberry and banana yogurt ones

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

in a packed lunch or when going on a long trip or day out. handy as doesn't need to be kept cold like yogurt or cheese

  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

yes but my kids would probably prefer to eat the actual fruit rather than the pouches

serendipity1980 · 01/11/2017 19:12

I forgot to add the we didn’t think the packaging was very environmentally friendly - the cap was very easy to take off for all of us but we worry about the impact on the planet.

blardyfeck · 01/11/2017 20:33

Thank you very much for giving us the opportunity to try GoGo squeez!

  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
The lid was cleverly designed, although my 5 year old still struggled to open it. I noticed that they all had a long shelf-life, which is handy, and they don't need to be kept in the fridge. I initially thought that my children wouldn't be that keen on the snacks as I assumed they were similar to baby food but actually they were quite excited to try them. It was a shame to see another product on the market that's not recyclable
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?
My 8 year old loved doing his own chart and giving each flavour a mark out of 10. My 5 year old liked the fruity characters on the box and the pouches.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?
They both liked the yogurt ones better than the fruit ones but I'm afraid to say, neither of them liked the apple and mango one. Apparently it was too "mango-ey". My 5 year old thought all of the fruit ones were too sweet and he struggled to finish them.
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?
I'm not sure to be honest. I can appreciate that they're convenient but I'm lucky in that both my children like fruit so I don't really struggle to give them fruit.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?
This is a tricky area. Many people would say that the fruit ones are healthier than a lot of options eg sweets and chocolate, but in my opinion, fruit should be consumed in moderation as it contains an awful lot of sugar (fructose). Unbelievably, the yogurt ones have sugar added to them so I'm not sure they're as healthy as people would assume.
Boobiebalfie · 01/11/2017 20:59

In general the concept is great as they don't need to be refrigerated, they are easy to open and have attractive packaging.
WAlthe children liked that they were easy to open and they were mess free even for the 2yr old.
All three children prefered the yogurts with the strawberry being the overall favourite.
I used these in the school packed lunches and also in the change bag for the 2yr if we were going to be out for a while.
Yes I would consider this a healthy snack in moderation

Archiesmummy1 · 01/11/2017 21:18
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?
Good. Fairly easy to open, unlike yoghurt tubes which can be very hit and miss. Good size for the lunchboxes. Can be stored in the cupboard rather than the fridge.
  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ? They seemed to enjoy the taste of the mango one the most, as we had arguments over who had that in their lunch boxes. Be able to easily open the pouches independently was also good.
  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite? They both liked the Mango. Nobody liked the banana one (we have one banana pouch still left in the cupboard)
  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child? School Lunchboxes, also in my handbag as emergency snacks, not needing to be fridge fresh is useful.
  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack? Kind of, I’ll always give them these type of snacks as well as fresh fruit, they are easy to pack and convenient as snacks.
GnarlyOldGoatDude · 02/11/2017 00:09
  1. What did you think about GoGo squeeZ in general?

The kids loved them initially, and got through about 3 each on the first day. Easy to open and liked the way didn't have to be kept in fridge. However they've gone off them a bit now, and the eldest (7) no longer wants to take them to school as he's being teased that they look babyish.

  1. What did your child(ren) like about GoGo squeeZ?

They liked how easy they were to open, and the bright design.

  1. What did your child think about the different flavours? Which was their favourite?

Strawberry and apple were their favourites. They weren't keen on banana or mango.

  1. When would you envisage giving GoGo squeeZ to your child?

in a packed lunch, or we have to provide healthy mid morning snacks for KS2 pupils. I'd thought it would be a great alternative to fruit occasionally.

  1. Would you consider GoGo squeeZ to be a healthy snack?

yes, but i haven't studied the ingredients to see if that's true!

Thank you for letting us test these! I'm always on the lookout for variety with their snacks.
