We were asked by the team at LUNA go to find 25 MNers from the MN panel to try their facial brush - “the facial brush & anti-aging device for wherever life takes you” - here’s what they found…!

They say “the LUNA go facial brush is the perfect travel-friendly beauty companion for your busy lifestyle! With its compact size and T-Sonic™ technology, you can enjoy a full skincare routine anywhere, without compromise”. RRP £85

More info see here

Non testers - we have two LUNA Minis, RRP £85 each to be won - LUNA say using the “Luna mini for just 1 minute twice a day will visibly improve your complexion in 3 days” so we’d like to know what else can you achieve in 1 minute - for example, can you empty the dishwasher, do 50 pelvic floor squeezes or some essential admin? Share on this thread and you will be entered into a prize draw to win one Smile.

Testers - please share your responses to the following questions:

  1. Had you used a facial brush before? Which one and how did you find it?
  2. What are your initial thoughts on the packaging, instructions?
  3. Do you like the design of the brush?
  4. How gentle was it on your skin?
  5. How clean did your face feel after the use?
  6. How easy was it to use this product in your routine?
  7. How easy is it to carry?
  8. Would you recommend the LUNA go facial brush?

Through all the chaos of being a mum, I can sneak away for a minute to a hidey place and eat up a bar of chocolate or two

In one minute... fall asleep. I have a 6 month old going through a growth spurt and teething so I am up nearly hourly at night. Apart from that, everything else seems to take an age to do!

In one minute I exercise my pelvic floor!

clorindaClutterbuck1 · 30/08/2017 10:31

  1. Had you used a facial brush before? Which one and how did you find it? I had never heard of one, let alone tried one...
  2. What are your initial thoughts on the packaging, instructions? The packaging was so pretty I didn't want to open it at first, I felt like Christmas had come early for me! Instructions were okay, but I'm still not sure if I'm using it correctly (even after watching YouTube demos too...)
  3. Do you like the design of the brush? Yes, it's so cute!
  4. How gentle was it on your skin? Very, I have sensitive skin but it was lovely.
  5. How clean did your face feel after the use? So clean, and all the following day.
  6. How easy was it to use this product in your routine? I use mine in the evening once my children are asleep, it's my only "me" time : )
  7. How easy is it to carry? Yes, but I didn't ever leave the house with it.
  8. Would you recommend the LUNA go facial brush? I will if it definitely improves my fine wrinkles. I think I've already noticed an improvement, but it might just be wishful thinking. After a week if use I intend to compare before and after photos and if there's a definite improvement I will be raving about this product to everyone...

1. Had you used a facial brush before? Which one and how did you find it?

I've never had one before.

2. What are your initial thoughts on the packaging, instructions?

Packaging was all lovely, felt like something really special had been delivered. Instructions all seemed clear to start with, but then it isn't clear when it has switched from one mode to another and I can't keep track of counting too much when standing in the shower first thing in the morning, barely able to keep my eyes open!

3. Do you like the design of the brush?

It looks nice and neat. I can't help wondering though if when I go through the airport this weekend if they will think it is a personal device of another nature!

4. How gentle was it on your skin?

Really gentle, gentle enough that my children all want a go each day and I definitely need the 3 minute cut out or I could have gone for ages!

5. How clean did your face feel after the use?

Very clean, squeaky clean. I kept wanting to touch my face, which of course undoes all the good work of the brush in the first place.

6. How easy was it to use this product in your routine?

Very easy overall, but hard to remember when to switch to the other mode.

7. How easy is it to carry?

Very easy, nice and small, has a nice bag to go into

8. Would you recommend the LUNA go facial brush?

Overall, yes, I would recommend it, but £85 worth of recommendation? I think I have seen an improvement in the condition of my skin and want a bit longer than a week to see if it is sustained and worth it, so a guarded yes.

In one minute I can clean up all of the trail of crumbs which DC seem to leave whenever they eat anything - breakfast, lunch, snack or dinner.

Nanodust · 30/08/2017 19:35

So gutted not to have been selected for this as I entered but alas not this. Time, great reading feedback though.

In one minute, I can mutlitask by enetering my electricity and gas meter readings online, make a cup of tea ( tea bag in pre reading and out post) and take out the dinner for a defrost 😬👍🏼

1033MICHELLE · 30/08/2017 20:07

Non tester - in one minute I can get both my kids dresses with their shoes on. I have it down to a fine art!

PorridgeAgainAbney · 30/08/2017 20:11

Non-tester - I could spend a minute thinking about what I'd do if I had an entire day to myself.

Yarboosucks · 30/08/2017 22:48

Non-tester: In one minute I can do the same amount of housework that my husband can do in 30 minutes.

Stephgr8 · 30/08/2017 23:25

Non-tester - I could hold "the plank" pose for a minute or alternatively I could just lie down like a plank and enjoy a minute's peace!

LostSeoul · 30/08/2017 23:29

Non-tester in a minute I can do my facial exercises, which hopefully will keep my skin looking good in the long run.

I can magically unload the dishwasher whilst making a cup of tea!

Emmac50 · 31/08/2017 08:33

I tested this elsewhere a few years ago. It's sitting nicely waiting for its next use. Thankfully I didn't buy it. Skin was soft but I don't think something that's any different to the waffle maker, soup maker that's in the kitchen

woodhill · 31/08/2017 08:56

None tester - I can do some stretches in the morning such as some squats or teapot waist exercises while my body lotion sinks in. I do this every morning and have a mini exercise routine.

  1. Had you used a facial brush before? Which one and how did you find it?
I've never used a facial brush before and must admit, I didn't even know they existed! Oops!
  1. What are your initial thoughts on the packaging, instructions?
The packaging made it seem very special and exciting. You could tell it was high quality and authentic. Instructions were easy to understand.
  1. Do you like the design of the brush?
I love the design of it. Perfect small size to clean around nose, etc. And the soft yet deep cleaning design of the "bristles" is very clever indeed.
  1. How gentle was it on your skin?
Very gentle on my skin. I have fairly sensitive skin, but this was not irritating at all.
  1. How clean did your face feel after the use?
After the first time using it, my face felt so much cleaner, softer, and fresher. I was actually impressed from the first time using it. Less oily too.
  1. How easy was it to use this product in your routine?
Very easy. In fact, easier than using a cloth that needs to be washed/dried later. The way that it can be easily rinsed off and ready to use for next time is great for busy mums!
  1. How easy is it to carry?
I've not traveled with it yet, but can imagine that it would be super easy to travel with.
  1. Would you recommend the LUNA go facial brush?
Yes, totally! I can imagine that many people (unless beauty addicts!) would be reluctant to spend so much for something like this. But I think if they had a chance to try it out for themselves, they would immediately see that it's worth it.

Thanks so much Mumsnet and LUNA for picking me - really excited to have discovered this amazing item.

The plank! At work we've been doing a planking challenge where we all try and do a plank for a minute at least once a day. My abs have firmed up so much that I can now do a 2 minute plan. And, I feel more confident about my body.

MipMipMip · 31/08/2017 17:43

Non tester - in one minute I can go downstairs desperate for the loo, get intercepted by MipHound and play ball before nearly wetting myself!

I could drink a cup of tea and eat a biscuit within a minute, probably both twice. Blush
