This activity is now closed

We were asked by the team at LUNA go to find 25 MNers from the MN panel to try their facial brush - “the facial brush & anti-aging device for wherever life takes you” - here’s what they found…!

They say “the LUNA go facial brush is the perfect travel-friendly beauty companion for your busy lifestyle! With its compact size and T-Sonic™ technology, you can enjoy a full skincare routine anywhere, without compromise”. RRP £85

More info see here

Share on this thread and you will be entered into a prize draw to win one Smile.

Testers - please share your responses to the following questions:

  1. Had you used a facial brush before? Which one and how did you find it?
  2. What are your initial thoughts on the packaging, instructions?
  3. Do you like the design of the brush?
  4. How gentle was it on your skin?
  5. How clean did your face feel after the use?
  6. How easy was it to use this product in your routine?
  7. How easy is it to carry?

Non-tester - in one minute, I can empty the contents of the laundry basket into the washing machine, chuck in a tablet and turn it on. That's one big chore done!

CheeseEMouse · 27/08/2017 16:59

In one minute I can speed putting clothes away in drawers... a task i hate!

SirRaymondLuxuryYacht · 27/08/2017 18:56

I'm a non tester. In a minute when making a cuppa I let the tea brew while I let the dog out for a quick wee in the garden.

CockPisssPartridge · 27/08/2017 22:53

Non Tester- In one minute I can get dogs' harnesses on, my socks and wellies on, poo bags and treats in pockets and out the door!
Getting this down to a fine art enables me to have five extra minutes in bed at 6am.

kateandme · 28/08/2017 07:57

this is a game me and the kettle play daily.whilst its boiling for my cuppa in that minute I can get the dishwasher done.and if I don't well devastation.
I can also run to my bedroom from the kitchen in the dark once I have first turned lights off before the dark monsters come grab my feet running up the stairs!

  1. I have used a Magnitone before, which I quite liked but worried about keeping the brush clean and had the urge to replace it frequently, which made it expensive. I also had issues with the Magnitone not charging properly
  2. The quick start guide was fine, but I needed to read the full instructions to really understand what I was doing and why. Very simple once I'd read it.
  3. I was unsure of the brush before using it as it was very small and the silicone brush was unusual. Once I'd used it I was converted, it fits really nice into my hand and the silicone brush gives my skin a really gentle massage. I really liked the silicone brush as it felt much more hygienic and easier to clean than traditional brushes.
  4. Surprisingly gentle. With the Magnitone I had to move very slowly and didn't always complete the cycle as my skin felt sore, but with the Luna I could keep going for ages (and needed the 3 minute shut off to stop me overdoing it!). It did take a few goes to get used to the anti ageing massage size on my forehead, but I've mastered the technique now
  5. Very clean. Since having the coil fitted I've been suffering from hormonal acne and severely blocked pores on my chin, but it felt really clean and smooth after use
  6. It has fit in with my routine really well. I use it with Eve Lom cleanser in the morning and Micellar Oil in the evening and it works perfectly with both. I love the fact that it's waterproof and can be used in the shower.
  7. Very easy to carry and the small size makes it easy to store
  8. Definitely. I love the anti ageing cycle and my skin feels fantastic after using it.

Inspired by this thread I went to Boots today to use my long hoarded points to get one. The ones on the shelf had "display only" type stickers on. Despite querying this with two staff members I was assured that it did contain the actual product. On opening after I left the shop I discovered I was right and it's a dummy model. As they closed just I couldn't go back in. So now got to make another trip to Boots to swap it (and am paranoid they won't believe me).

Was really looking forward to trying it tonight Sad

CockPisssPartridge · 28/08/2017 18:12

yumyum I did the same thing in John Lewis not boasting promise
DD wanted to buy something with her own money and chose the item and put it in the basket. Cashier put it through the till, got home- empty box.
DD had picked up the display box.
I took it back the next day and they were fine about it.
The girl on that section even said she was wondering where's the display box had gone Blush

yumyumpizza · 28/08/2017 18:30

Thanks Partridge, glad it's not just me Grin Hopefully they'll swap it easily tomorrow

It is small and compact
  1. Would you recommend the LUNA go facial brush?
I would but would be more inclined to recommend it once i see a visible remarkable difference in my skin
