Tester of Luna Go for Oily Skin
- Had you used a facial brush before? Which one and how did you find it?
Yes. I own the Clinique Sonic Cleansing brush which I have used twice daily regularly for the last year. It has made a massive difference in the appearance of my skin and leaves me feeling very clean. Negatives are that is a rather bulky item to travel with, the charger is a big docking station and that the replacement brush heads are expensive.
- What are your initial thoughts on the packaging, instructions?
Beautiful neat box, looked very luxurious. I was surprised by how simple the instructions were, although they covered everything, they did seem a little sparse! I was really excited when it was delivered as it looked very professional and beautiful. Couldn't wait to give it a go!
- Do you like the design of the brush?
The brush is very attractive and the right shape for holding. The one for oily skin is a pretty green colour and it looks rather cute. I didn't realise that there was a smoothing function until I read the instructions, but it seems like it could be useful.
- How gentle was it on your skin?
At first it did feel like it was dragging my skin, however when I didn't press so hard this issue was resolved. The vibrations were very soothing on my face.
- How clean did your face feel after the use?
After the first use, my skin felt very soft, although I wasn't sure about how clean it felt. I was missing my Clinique brush, however after a couple of days using it twice daily, my skin is definitely feeling firmer and cleaner already.
- How easy was it to use this product in your routine?
Very easy as it replaced a similiar brush I was already using. It's a quick process and is easy to use.
- How easy is it to carry?
It is perfectly small for travelling. It came with a tiny grey carry pouch which fits the charging cable and brush and can easily be popped into a toiletry bag or inside a shoe in my suitcase. It's very lightweight and is ideal for travellers /gym bunnies.
- Would you recommend the LUNA go facial brush?
I would! The initial cost of £85 is pricey, my Clinique brush was £79. However, there are no replacement heads to purchase so it's just a one off cost which is great. Many people I know and I are happy to spend a little extra on beauty products, accessories and tools like this when the results speak for themselves. I think that everyone should try incorporating a cleansing brush of some form into their regular beauty regime. I had not heard of the brand previous to this test, but I now confident that is a brand I can trust and equally recommend to others.
Thank for for the opportunity to try this brush and I look forward to even more great results over the next few weeks.
