Tester of Luna Go for Oily Skin

  1. Had you used a facial brush before? Which one and how did you find it?
Yes. I own the Clinique Sonic Cleansing brush which I have used twice daily regularly for the last year. It has made a massive difference in the appearance of my skin and leaves me feeling very clean. Negatives are that is a rather bulky item to travel with, the charger is a big docking station and that the replacement brush heads are expensive.
  1. What are your initial thoughts on the packaging, instructions?
Beautiful neat box, looked very luxurious. I was surprised by how simple the instructions were, although they covered everything, they did seem a little sparse! I was really excited when it was delivered as it looked very professional and beautiful. Couldn't wait to give it a go!
  1. Do you like the design of the brush?
The brush is very attractive and the right shape for holding. The one for oily skin is a pretty green colour and it looks rather cute. I didn't realise that there was a smoothing function until I read the instructions, but it seems like it could be useful.
  1. How gentle was it on your skin?
At first it did feel like it was dragging my skin, however when I didn't press so hard this issue was resolved. The vibrations were very soothing on my face.
  1. How clean did your face feel after the use?
After the first use, my skin felt very soft, although I wasn't sure about how clean it felt. I was missing my Clinique brush, however after a couple of days using it twice daily, my skin is definitely feeling firmer and cleaner already.
  1. How easy was it to use this product in your routine?
Very easy as it replaced a similiar brush I was already using. It's a quick process and is easy to use.
  1. How easy is it to carry?
It is perfectly small for travelling. It came with a tiny grey carry pouch which fits the charging cable and brush and can easily be popped into a toiletry bag or inside a shoe in my suitcase. It's very lightweight and is ideal for travellers /gym bunnies.
  1. Would you recommend the LUNA go facial brush?
I would! The initial cost of £85 is pricey, my Clinique brush was £79. However, there are no replacement heads to purchase so it's just a one off cost which is great. Many people I know and I are happy to spend a little extra on beauty products, accessories and tools like this when the results speak for themselves. I think that everyone should try incorporating a cleansing brush of some form into their regular beauty regime. I had not heard of the brand previous to this test, but I now confident that is a brand I can trust and equally recommend to others.

Thank for for the opportunity to try this brush and I look forward to even more great results over the next few weeks.

In one minute my daughter (1yr) can..
pull out all the dog biscuits and scatter them all over the floor, run around the house with one in her hand whilst her mummy chases behind and attempt to do the laundry by pressing every button the washing machine and dryer 50times whilst screaming a war cry to the tune of baa baa black sheep Grin

FindTheCupForMax · 26/08/2017 08:26

Get in to my pj's, actually I could do that in about 10 seconds I love pj's! so I will throw in, brush my hair, too Wink

In one minute, I can fall asleep at present. Literally, head hits pillow and I'm fast asleep. I suspect with so many sleep deprived parents on here that I'm not alone in this super power!

In one minute I can successfully hide in the kitchen and eat half a pack of biscuits along with a few swings of tea, before I offer DS just one.

1. Had you used a facial brush before? Which one and how did you find it?
I've only ever used a more traditional facial brush in the past. Not a specific make.

2. What are your initial thoughts on the packaging, instructions?
It was packaged beautifully and loved that you get a little storage bag inside. The instructions are simple and clear, so I found them very easy to follow.

3. Do you like the design of the brush?
Yes. I was surprised at how tiny it is, but that's part of the attraction.

4. How gentle was it on your skin?
I have sensitive skin and found that although it was very gentle I had some redness after use.

5. How clean did your face feel after the use?
My skin felt cleaner and much smoother.

6. How easy was it to use this product in your routine?
Very quick and easy. No bother at all.

7. How easy is it to carry?
It's light and compact so easy to carry.

8. Would you recommend the LUNA go facial brush?
I would recommend and already have. However I feel the price can be a little off putting to buyers who haven't had the opportunity to test it out for themselves.

BeccaSays · 26/08/2017 10:40

Non tester! In a minute I can make a cup of tea, fill up the sink and throw in some washing up and clear a draining board. Amazing what you can do in such little time with a baby!!

There's not much I can do in only a minute, but I can chop an onion really finely in 60 seconds... I reckon I could do the 50 pelvic floor squeezes, but I've never actually timed myself Grin

In one minute I can find enough dried pasta (used as rubbish in my 2 year olds toy bin lorry) scattered all over the floors of our house to make a dinner for 4

  1. Had you used a facial brush before? Which one and how did you find it?
No, I'd never had and to be honest, never really heard of them!?!
  1. What are your initial thoughts on the packaging, instructions?
The packaging looked fab - very special / luxurious. All neatly done & well presented. The instructions were very short & snappy but did the job (and you can download a full version of the manual via the website if you like).
  1. Do you like the design of the brush?
Yes I do. It's very compact so easy to store, is in a nice pink colour, and is easy to hold & use.
  1. How gentle was it on your skin?
Very gentle. Just felt small vibrations on my skin, it didn't hurt or feel obtrusive / abrasive at all.
  1. How clean did your face feel after the use?
My face did feel clean after the first use though I wasn't 'wowed' by it. However, after using it twice daily for a few days now, I can definitely feel the difference.
  1. How easy was it to use this product in your routine?
Very - it is so quick & simple.
  1. How easy is it to carry?
Extremely as it is so small & compact and very light.
  1. Would you recommend the LUNA go facial brush?
Yes I would - though I'm not sure I would pay £85 for it.

Thanks for letting me be a tester!

Ninjakittysmells · 26/08/2017 14:27

Non tester - I'm a single parent so have learnt the art of doing most things in under a minute! I would say the most useful is first thing in the morning - up, drsssed, dry shampoo on hair and a slick of bronzer and lip gloss. Ready to go!

Emilycanfly · 26/08/2017 14:56

Non tester -
In the minute where we should have left for school at least five minutes ago, I can tie shoe laces, put jackets on, grab bags and packed lunches, lock the house, unlock the car and get the kids, bags and packed lunches in...

  1. Had you used a facial brush before? Which one and how did you find it?
Never used one before.
  1. What are your initial thoughts on the packaging, instructions?
Lovely look and feel to the packaging and clear instructions.
  1. Do you like the design of the brush?
Yes, it's neat and unfussy.
  1. How gentle was it on your skin?
Very gentle, didn't aggravate my sensitive skin at all. My face felt soft afterwards.
  1. How clean did your face feel after the use?
It felt clean but not over-scrubbed as it can sometimes with a muslin/flannel.
  1. How easy was it to use this product in your routine?
Very easy, and because it feels so pleasant with the vibrations I'd rather use this than a muslin. It's relaxing.
  1. How easy is it to carry?
Very easy, small and comes with a handy drawstring bag for storage.
  1. Would you recommend the LUNA go facial brush?
Yes.
