I totally get this. I literally got asked on a date the other day and thought oooo no I want to watch MAFS in bed in my pyjamas and get a takeaway. It’s a feeling that simply cannot be replicated by anything else.

and it’s now 23.14 and will attempt to have a sleep. The premier room is cold so menopause body is feeling good about that. I’m totally focused on whether I will wake at 8 for a shower and then leave or wake at 7.30 for breakfast shower then leave.

I once spent a lovely evening in a hotel room in Scotland, fish, chips and mushy peas from the chippy across the road, new Agatha Christie film on Netflix, dark and pouring with rain outside. Absolute bliss. OH had gone out to a meeting then dinner with his workmates. Man, I was so snug and happy 😊

Oooh, I once got a chicken shawarma on humus with a flatbread from a local takeaway and a Pret chocolate mousse I picked up at the station in a hotel. Then a hot chocolate, face mask and an early night. Very jealous OP!
