Is this positive?!

I’ve name changed for this. I am due in hospital tomorrow for a colposcopy because of periods being all over the place. Just decided to do a pregnancy test just to be on the safe side.
DH and I were told earlier this year it was very unlikely we could conceive due to my age and low AMH levels.

Was not expecting this. I’m not going nuts am I? Is this positive? Is there any way it could be wrong?

DH is at work & I can’t talk to him for a couple of hours. Am shaking.

Congratulations! Wee on a thousand sticks just for the sheer thrill! And don’t worry about the martini and wine; I had an absolute skinful before I realised I was pregnant.

DH is home! He knows!

He started talking about work, and I interrupted and said “You know I’m going fit that colposcopy tomorrow? Well you’re not supposed to have it if you are pregnant, so I just did a test to be sure”
Then showed him the tests.

He just looked baffled then was speechless but with a big smile.
He is elated and also shocked and slightly numb, the same as I am!
He’s just made me a big mug of tea with sugar to help with the shock.

I’m 40! I was not expecting to be pregnant at this age. And we live in a two bedroom place.
We may need to rethink a few things once we’ve got our heads around this!

I’ve contacted my GP to get the ball rolling.
I’m supposed to be working (from home) today but I just cannot concentrate at all.

I am so so happy for you! I know the feeling of thinking that you will never be able to conceive then those two little lines appearing on a test! Congratulations!

Oh wow! Congratulations. What lovely happy news. I had dd2 at 39, she's 4 now. All went well with that pregnancy. At 40 you'll be fine. Enjoy the ride. Work might have to slide for the rest of the day!
