… and so over the next few days I'll be bringing you some scenes of a Playmobil Pandemic.

People are allowed out for exercise, but must practise social distancing. Janice and Preston are both out for a run but are making sure they don't get too close.

I think the Playmo people are way too sensible for any kind of bbq action unless it’s kept strictly within their own households.

SoMuchToBits · 15/04/2020 14:23

Except for the type who think it's ok to have a party in the park! Wink

I guess there has to be accurate representation of reality...Grin

Are there going to be lemming-like busybodies running around shouting about the RULES and trying to tell people they can’t have chocolate in their shopping basket because it’s not an ‘essential item’ and that ‘no one needs milk if they have a tap’?

pussycatinboots · 15/04/2020 14:50

Looks like the Playmo Police are going to be a tad busy...Grin

SoMuchToBits · 15/04/2020 14:57

I expect generally crime will be down though pussycat as fewer burglaries due to everyone being at home, less shoplifting as shops (other than food/pharmacy) shut.

My neighbour who is in the police says crime has been down by about 20% in our area, so maybe it will be the same in Playmoland?

chomalungma · 15/04/2020 15:20

Does Playmoland get cybercrime though Grin

pussycatinboots · 15/04/2020 15:22

I did wonder about burglaries, with lots more people at home, so that's good to know. Smile
I hope the Playmo Rozzers have a peaceful lockdown waits for Playmo Police station awash with tea and biscuits

CatkinToadflax · 15/04/2020 15:42

Thank you so much for this thread SoMuchToBits. I'm on the 12 week shielding list and it can get quite lonely at times. I actually did an advanced search on your username a couple of weeks ago to see if there were any Playmo Covid (Movid?!) threads! Blush

How's Brendan getting on? I think his name's Brendan anyway? The one who's the fan of the Royals and camps outside the palace with his tent and a mug of tea? I hope the Playmo Rozzers haven't moved him on!

Rhapsodyinpurple · 15/04/2020 16:00

I love these. Have followed them for a while. Great fun.

RogueV · 15/04/2020 16:28

Brilliant 😀

SoMuchToBits · 15/04/2020 16:35

They have computers, so I guess there could be cyber crime. Grin

Brendan is fine, thank you for asking, and he won't be getting moved on, as he only camps out for royal events, so he gets the best view! Smile

Oh Bits you have really started something here!! DS has made a house out of a cardboard box and filled it with his Playmobil people and they are about to get a delivery from a delivery man who he calls John Wilson. John has his mask on and they are all keeping away from him!

Brilliant! Although that appears to be Elise with a different family! Shock I didn't realise she was leading a double life. Confused

Shock Elise? Double life?...she's a bigamist!

FuzzyPuffling · 15/04/2020 18:26

Hurrah for all the Playmo people and an even bigger hurrah for SoMuch.
The party in the park made me laugh. Even Playmoers are badly behaved on occasion.

SoMuchToBits · 15/04/2020 18:29

Well, you can't trust a bunch of robbers, can you? Wink

BooseysMom · 15/04/2020 18:31

Is that right?! I never knew what her name was, or any of them for that matter! Here's one last pic of the outdoor scene. More of a closer view! ...

Well that's what we call her, but that's what I like about Playmo, you can call the people whatever we like!

FuzzyPuffling · 15/04/2020 18:35

What will Jack the robber chappy do under the current circumstances?

BooseysMom · 15/04/2020 18:35

Forgot to say the delivery guy's real name isn't John Wilson. He's part of the Del's food van set from the Playmobil Movie so could well be Del himself leading a double life! Or just delivering the food now he can't open the van to the public. That makes sense!

SoMuchToBits · 15/04/2020 18:38

Jack Jellyhead is currently unable to do much robbing, so is spending his time partying in the park...

He won't be able to sell the proceeds of that!

Perhaps he will become a reformed character I hope not, he's funny and volunteer to take hot dinners round to the older people of Playmoland. Whilst stealing a few chips off the top

SunshineCake · 15/04/2020 18:47

I have really enjoyed this thread thank you. Very excited my name has been mentioned as a character. My kids never had Playmobile. DH wouldn't let me as they had Duplo and Lego.

StopChelping · 15/04/2020 18:56

Flaming well love these, they make my day. Flowers

ChessieFL · 15/04/2020 19:16

This is fabulous SoMuch, thank you! Looking forward to seeing what they all get up to in lockdown.
