An outbreak of Covid-19 has occurred for the Playmobil people in our house...

… and so over the next few days I'll be bringing you some scenes of a Playmobil Pandemic.

People are allowed out for exercise, but must practise social distancing. Janice and Preston are both out for a run but are making sure they don't get too close.

I'm on the edge of my seat wondering about Marta and Matthias. 💕

Haha, only the modern living people and maybe some of the leisure ones. I started running out of English names a while back. We also have some Scottish ones, Irish ones and some German (mostly the Christmas/winter ones and various other nationalities especially sports people.

I’ve just realised we need more Playmo in our lives and have put in a plentiful order.

Everything is 25% off on the Playmobil website at the moment (I presume as they can't sell in shops) so many bargains to be had!

newname I did ask MNHQ to set up a playmo topic to collate all the threads together but I was told it’s too niche!

But OP, what a wonderful town they all live in! Where are all the busybodies and the ones littering the car park with gloves.

I love that Playmobil is "too niche" for a topic!

Marta and Matthias are self-isolating at Marta's house, as she and Emil have symptoms. They don't feel too unwell though. Marta is cheering herself up with a nice cup of tea, while Matthias is working from home.

Franz and Emil are keeping busy playing with their toys.

They are together in isolation! This is quite a big step for them I think. And hope.

Ben is delivering a parcel to Matthias. "Just leave it on the doorstep please!" says Matthias.

It's Thursday and "Clap for key workers" evening. Matthias is clapping, Marta bangs a pan with a ladle, and Emil and Franz join in with tambourine and maracas.

My DS has just started getting in to playmobile and I’ve had to be so restrained not to buy loads more! So far he has the fire engine, play park and water park.

I am so enjoying this. I loved Playmobil when my daughter was small but now my youngest grandchild is 9, sadly, Playmobil is a thing of the past. I'm tempted to get some of my own.

I take it all Playmobile people are taking part in the clapping tonight?

No one is going to stay inside and not take part....
