An outbreak of Covid-19 has occurred for the Playmobil people in our house...

… and so over the next few days I'll be bringing you some scenes of a Playmobil Pandemic.

People are allowed out for exercise, but must practise social distancing. Janice and Preston are both out for a run but are making sure they don't get too close.

Only just opened the parcel. Too tired right now to sort through it properly. Maybe tomorrow...

Could we see what Norman gets up to each day as he leads Playmoland through the crisis?

Well, we could do, but I think we would probably find it was mostly cabinet meetings fuelled by and [biscuits] s .

I'm sitting having a with Norman now, while I plan my fun-packed day off. First I need to decide what we are eating today and visit the shops accordingly. Then I need to clean the house (it's currently a tip, as I've spent all my time at work/going to the shops/making Playmo scenes/getting the washing done). Good thing we aren't expecting visitors! Except for the boiler man who is coming this afternoon to fix our faulty boiler.

Then I need to plan and photograph some Playmo scenes for today, and investigate the parcel contents. Also need to reply to a couple of emails, then cook the dinner (my turn tonight, ds is being fantastic at cooking every evening on the days I'm working).

Not all the key workers work in the hospital, police or shops. Lester is driving the recycling truck and Lawrence is emptying the bins.

Lawrence loads the bin onto the truck.

Hurrah for the bin men keeping playmoland so clean and tidy.

Nice to see the bins being emptied. I trust the Playmo population clean their bin handles when they put them out

Yay, the boiler man came early and seems to have fixed the boiler for not much £££ either! Unfortunately the house was still a tip and the dining table was covered in Playmobil at that point! He probably thought I was a right weirdo...

Now having another then going to blitz the house.

@somuch I've found someone who drinks as much as me! Is it tea or coffee you have?
I asked dp to make me a coffee this morning to which he was disgusted as it was my third cup of the day and it was only 6.45

It's tea here. I'm afraid Norman's tea-drinking habits may be loosely based on mine!

Brendan works for the local council and today is doing some garden maintenance.

He unloads equipment from his pick up truck.

He gets out the wheelbarrow.

He is going to do some pruning.

And some digging and weeding.

He loads the equipment back into the truck...
