An outbreak of Covid-19 has occurred for the Playmobil people in our house...

… and so over the next few days I'll be bringing you some scenes of a Playmobil Pandemic.

People are allowed out for exercise, but must practise social distancing. Janice and Preston are both out for a run but are making sure they don't get too close.

Today the workers are busy at Ruggington docks, making sure goods get transported to keep the Playmolanders supplied with food. Martin is operating the crane, lifting crates from the container ship, which is manned by captain Adrian and his mate Stan.

Alex is ready with the forklift truck to take the crate.

Adrian and Stan check their cargo list.

Wallace, Horace and Elbridge are busy in the goods yard.

Ernie is transporting a crate of goods on the pallet jack.

Lewis is moving some sacks of flour. There is plenty to go round.

Walter is going to move some coal with the excavator.

Martin helps with the crane.

Herbert and Christine the harbour police arrive to check that everything is in order.

They have a chat to Adrian and Stan and check out the paperwork.

Hooray! Flour!

I hope they're getting double time for working on a Sunday

I wanted to ask a question about Marta and Matthias. Were they living together before this or did they decide to become one household once the lockdown was announced? I feel like they were getting along really well over Christmas, but I don’t recall them living together (but I have only been dipping in and out of this!).

No, they weren't living together, but they have been on holiday together.

Have you got a spreadsheet or a 'mind map' linking all the people so you know their history

Love this so much. I wish I was self-isolating in Playmoland. They look like they've got it all under control.

No spreadsheet, but I do have lists of names, so I can see who belongs to which family etc. This is mostly for the modern living/leisure/Christmas and winter people, and I have a little family tree for the royal family.

I'm pleased to see Norm has things under control and hasn't been spending all his time drinking

Ah, he has been drinking a lot of but while running the country at the same time!
