Will be fun if the van is a permanent addition to your end of the street.

So C has gone out and everyone else has returned from work.

We have Mr and Mrs K next to X, B in her perfect 1/2 position, C in 3 AND Strange Car has edged right up to B in 1, slightly in X as it's a teeny car.

And F has gone out. She's left her space open to all!

I hope the van comes back! It seems the van belongs to the person doing up the house, haven't worked out if it's the house occupiers yet and no one seems to have actually moved in properly, just come and go with boxes and do work on it.

The difference in that thread is that the OP has skin in the game and is making a complaint. The OP here is simply observing with a neutral and amused eye, and there is no personal animus in this thread. That's why this thread is such a joy: no crossness.

@iswhois also that OP did not do a diagram and thus broke the rules AND has two cars in a one adult household! So she's ALLLLLLL kinds of wrong

So. Not quite sure what's going on here...

F left her precious space unguarded. She returned and is now parked halfway across E's drive, for no reason whatsoever. D is right on the edge of his drive too, so he won't be able to get into his drive without asking scary F to move.

B has also returned and is in 1/2. C will be "forced" into X again.

Poor E! How dare F and D park across his drive - poor guy.

Naturally B has got 'her' space - she 's working the early shift this week!
BTW am missing seeing her in her Pink Dressing Gown

Must have been quite the emergency for F to have left her spot! Is C back yet, and 'is she touching'?

No C yet. But she doesn't care about using X so she's fine. Although I prefer it when she beats B to her spot.

Ooh yes - do ask workmen if they need tea/coffee/cake/beer - mind you knowing B she'll just wait at her window and jump into their spot the moment they leave!

Well she will...but seeing her wait to pounce is pretty priceless
