To decorate my neighbour’s new ‘no parking outside my door’ signs with a bit of tinsel?

The sign glows in the dark. It is rather large and looks awful.

This has encouraged me to sneak out and leave some carrots for our neighbours illuminated reindeer in their front garden.

If you can keep totally schtum (I never would be able to) then you should repeat a version of this every year. Sort of mental torture or gentle poking fun?

There's a statute of a bust of a bald man (should find out who) in the middle of a roundabout near me who has a Santa hat, St Patrick's day attire, etc etc at the appropriate time and it's just lovely. Somewhat different I grant you but hopefully your neighbour will see the funny side.

Don't vandalise his sign though, decorate sure, but don't deface Smile
