We haven't spoke to each other since last night as we've both been working today but I'm not sure if I should contact him first or should I wait for him to contact me?

I don't know what he thinks about it and whether he thinks it meant something or it was just a casual one night stand. I'm not even sure I know tbh

Should I mention this to him or just forget it ever happened and continue on as normal?

I love this story. I had s best friend years ago, we played sport together, and got on brilliantly. He called me one day to say 'let's make it more than friends' I thought he was being daft and I was sort of dating someone else at the time. I so wish I'd said yes. We proceeded to have several sliding doors moments where had things been just slightly different we could have ended up together, but then he got married, as did I, then he divorced his wife and is now marrying a second girl. I'm happily married, but I do wonder why we managed to miss so many opportunities. Congratulations op! :)
