This poor bunny was left outside Westminster yesterday. Is anyone missing bunny? He looks well loved.

I am keeping bunny safe until he can be reunited with his owner.

Aww I bet someone's missing him!

reallywittyname · 06/07/2016 13:02

Didn't Boris chuck all his toys out of his pram the other week?

Grin

MermaidofZennor · 06/07/2016 13:02

So which MP has been throwing their toys out of the pram this week?

MermaidofZennor · 06/07/2016 13:03

He is a little bit sad, but is getting the opportunity to intern in Westminster. He's hiding in my handbag listening to the PM talk about Chilcot.

Have you put it on Facebook and Twitter?

WestminsterBunny · 06/07/2016 13:10

Aye - it's on social media. Had 140 retweets yesterday and a fair few shares on Facebook. Was concerned that Twitter can be a bit of an echo chamber and may not be reaching the right people though.

Had a lead this morning but it came to nothing. Bunny continues to live in my handbag.

Is there a local spotted page on FB?

I agree that he looks sad. He's missing his human.

Sad

CommunistLegoBloc · 07/07/2016 12:03

Has he considered running for Tory leadership? He's the most tempting option so far...

WestminsterBunny · 07/07/2016 12:33

There are so many tourists and so few areas of housing round parliament that it's unlikely bunny belongs to someone who lives really near here.

OP posts:
Incitatus · 07/07/2016 13:16

Aw, it would make a nice friend for Jeremy Corbyn Grin

EnthusiasmDisturbed · 07/07/2016 13:20

That's cruel Incitatus the bunny already looks depressed

He could probably do a better job than Jeremy is doing

Hope he is happy in your handbag op

kelper · 07/07/2016 13:21

Have you put a few leaflets around the area, in case Bunnys owner comes back looking for him?

WestminsterBunny · 07/07/2016 13:26

Kelper, that's a good idea. I've told the police at the gates of parliament. It's kind of difficult to put up posters etc there cause there's so much political stuff goes on.

Bunny having a quick coffee with me in the House of Commons this afternoon.

DD has one exactly like that and she wanted to take him on her school trip today. I said no as she would be distraught if she lost him (which we have done before but always managed to get him back as it's been local places) I took him to work with me instead and took photos of him having fun around the place.
You're so kind for picking him up. Hope he gets reunited with his owner soon.

OkLumberjack · 07/07/2016 13:28

Glad you're looking after the bunny. Maybe he has the chance of being in the Labour Shadow cabinet? Wink
