This poor bunny was left outside Westminster yesterday. Is anyone missing bunny? He looks well loved.

I am keeping bunny safe until he can be reunited with his owner.

Oh why am I crying?!

What a lovely result

littlemisseatsherfeelings · 12/01/2017 13:20

And this is why I love Mumsnet. My eyes are leaking at my desk. I'm going to blame it on TOTM hormones but I honestly think I would've cried reading this at any time. SO happy for DD2.

We lost DS jellycat Bunny in Spain this year, I walked up and down the same promenade 10 times and only within minutes of us realising he had gone, but in years to come I will not have a beautiful tale to tell like this one - my husband bought another one :O

Well done everyone for sharing! Hope this is your year EElisaveta !

TesticleMeElmo · 12/01/2017 13:46

Is it bad that I'm crying actual tears at this happy ending?!

GizmoFrisby · 12/01/2017 14:06

Best thread ever. Feeling extremely emotional.

Flufflewuffle · 12/01/2017 14:06

Not crying. Not at all. Smile
Wow, what a happy ending! I'm so thrilled for everyone. WMB, you've done a truly amazing thing here!

DD dropped her beloved toy giraffe while we were walking through the streets on holiday last year. After retracing our steps when we realised an hour later we found some kind soul had sat said giraffe on a window ledge out the way of trampling feet. DD was delighted and we were so relieved! Not quite as amazing a story as this but it gave me a fuzzy feeling all the same.

I love the power of social media, sometimes. Well done Westminster Bunny, thank you for caring.

Delighted Blue Bunny is finally home, several people and a Bunny are going to sleep better tonight, whilst the rest of us are smiling with wet eyes!

divafever99 · 12/01/2017 19:41

I'm so glad that one lovely little girl has her Blue Bunny snuggled up with her today.

What were the chances?

Good thing I'm reading this at home, because I'm now crying like a big fool!

YogaDrone · 13/01/2017 11:23

Aw...how wonderful. I've been on MN since 2007 and no thread has ever made me well up before but today there have been two - this one and the pony helping the mouse thread. Threads must be like buses Smile

Wonderful outcome. Flowers to WestminsterBunny

Nicknameofawesome · 13/01/2017 17:21

Hurrah!

Megatherium · 13/01/2017 18:22

Oooh, just heard this reported on the news on Classic FM! No mention of MN, though, just "social media".

WestminsterBunny · 13/01/2017 19:04

We were sitting having tea with the children when I heard ClassicFM say my name and talk about bunny Shock

DH was mid sentence and I had to shush him because I couldn't imagine why I'd be on classic fm.
