or hecsy for those who dont bow to any sort of higher power- tell a bastard they're a bastard and get them the hell out of your life

i have a friend very much like yours and it's so hard to see them going through it and just wishing they'd stand up for themselves.

suckmabigtoe · 02/06/2013 19:50

Kim i think mary had 7/8 other children by joseph so i dont think so.

Ilikethebreeze · 02/06/2013 19:51

ImToo Hecsy.
Agree that if they repent, then yes they can sort of "get out of it".
But they will have had an awful time probably.
But yes, agree the person they did it too may well have had a terrible time. Even worse sometimes.

Repentence is available to anyone and everyone, no matter who they are or what they have done.

suckmabigtoe · 02/06/2013 19:51

if that is, you even believe she was a virgin whilst pregnant with jesus. Wink

Ilikethebreeze · 02/06/2013 19:52

suck is right.

wineoclocktimeyet · 02/06/2013 19:52

What do I really look like? Is it the way I see myself or as I look in a photo (which is totally different to the way I imagine I look)?

Or is it toally subjective depending on whose looking at me?

Ilikethebreeze · 02/06/2013 19:53

Ilikethebreeze · 02/06/2013 19:54

Coffeeformeplease · 02/06/2013 19:59

I would like to know if all identical twins' voices sound identical.

I've got a twin sister and I can still fool her dh and dc when ringing while she's at work. We sound identical. Weird. Anyone else?

KinNora · 02/06/2013 20:00

Gunznroses as people get older, especially post-menopausal women, they lose bone density, sometimes this causes some of the vertebrae to collapse or suffer wedge fractures, these can lead to the natural curve of the spine becoming more exaggerated.

Actually that should read 'as some people get older'

Alisvolatpropiis · 02/06/2013 20:01

kim

I wonder that! Particularly after having to set up a proper voicemail on my work phone. I listened to it to check it was all spoken at normal speaking pace (I talk very quickly) and was Blush Confused when a 10 year old girl repeated the words I'd just spoken back to me.

I'm 24 surely I don't sound like that?!

Jestrin · 02/06/2013 20:02

kim147 I'm not an expert but I 'hear' myself with a voice that is slightly deeper than the one others say I have. On recordings, my voice is high pitched (but not squeaky Grin ) I'm always surprised when I hear it!

suckmabigtoe · 02/06/2013 20:02

"I've got a twin sister and I can still fool her dh and dc when ringing while she's at work. We sound identical. Weird. Anyone else?"

my dcs try and do this to me! they aren't twins though but sometimes they do fool me Grin

Souredstones · 02/06/2013 20:03

Why has my body decided to add sickness and nausea to my list of pmt symptoms in the past 3 months out of the blue? (Defo not pregnant previous months although cant be sure this month)

suckmabigtoe · 02/06/2013 20:04

i dont recognise my own voice when i hear it on a recording.

Pollydon · 02/06/2013 20:04

Kim part of my job is to listen to voice recordings. Yes you really do sound like that & Ive yet to meet anyone who enjoys listening to their own voice played back to them!

suckmabigtoe · 02/06/2013 20:04

soured POAS!

TheHerringScreams · 02/06/2013 20:06

When I talk, do I hear what I say accurately? Or do I not hear it exactly right- recordings, so on and so on, all sound different?

How did it get this way? Why was it men who have general,y been religious and social leaders, instead of women, wit some exceptions of course? Is it do with strength, early means of finding food, something else?
