I used to think that I was a good writer. But, since joining MN, I have to face the sad realisation that this is untrue. If I comment on a thread, it dies, and if I start a thread, no one answers! I give up. I know I am a good reader, I will stick to that from now on....

Blue you lucky lucky thing not seeing your MIL for so long. My own doesn't bother with us anymore and lives about 10 mins away from us here. Dh got a snotty text from her during the christmas holidays and that was it till the other day, telling him one of her family had passed away. I say nothing and intend to keep saying it! She said enough for us all when she was in our lives Sad

Thumbtack I feel all itchy now, yikes!

Thumbtack · 05/06/2013 20:47

KittensoftPuppydog · 05/06/2013 21:15

So, what's occurring?

Thumbtack · 05/06/2013 21:15

Yeah sorry about that! I thought I would shake things up a bit. But now I feel a bit deflated, my 99 year old Grannie died today - she was an amazing woman, bought 3 boys up in London, during the war by herself. God Rest Her Soul.
