i wish i just had bingate again (whole other thread at christmas our estate was forgotten cue people settin fire to things) our bastard car insurers have managed to loose dps copy of driving licence twice and instead of calling us to discuss things, and despite dps daily phone calls to check things are ok, have just cancelled our insurance two weeks before the next payments due so we were totally unprepared financially. Im not saying numbers but hes a new driver early 20's and we have a 7 seater car, so it is not a pretty amount! I could scream and cry and scream some more, he has really inportant appointments this week he now cant attend!!

Day 18 in the jizz stinking car, original boy and girl seen with all the doors open moving things around. They get into the car, wave to mum at the door and one shouts cret-ta? well thats what it sounds like, and they've driven off?

I swear if they are away while im stuck at home i will be gutted!

I'm searching translators for what cret-ta means but from what ive seen of the polish language i will never guess the correct spelling so its difficult.

It is hard when you hear something and try to get a translation when you dont know the spelling. maybe from phonetic writing the lovely polish speaking ladies can translate.

My advice is to post here which company it is! Then ring customer services and request a re-instatement, telling them you're posting about the situation on Mumsnet (tell them where to find your post, and point out your thread has made it into Classics so will be frequently read for all eternity.)

If they don't fix it straight away, ring another insurer and ask them to take you on. They'll sort out any cock-ups by your current previous insurer, to make you happy while getting your business away from them.
