One idle google and 10 minutes later dd and I have a pan full for lunch, it's lovely.

It was bad enough finding out about cleaning washing machines, and Veet to unclog hairy plug holes.... and now you failed to tell me this Angry

Well you horrible lot, what else have you being holding out on, and keeping from me?????

Have now had to eat a banana just to see if it really is as easy as you say.

Amazing!!!! Why is this not common knowledge?? It has got to be the easiest way to open a banana. I can't believe I have only just been told this.

Now I want to open another one, just to check it wasn't fluke, but I really don't want to eat another banana.

Is it more difficult with less ripe bananas?

Will be showing DD first thing in the morning. Grin

Honeydragon · 27/02/2012 22:55

have you cleaned the trap out under the sink when replacing the pipes?

or does it only smell when the waters running?

OP posts:
Somersaults · 27/02/2012 22:58

@littlemiss why not make a banana milkshake?!

thegreylady · 27/02/2012 22:59

How do you make profiteroles please?

PestoPenguin · 27/02/2012 23:00

It only smells after some water has run, although it only needs to be a few drops. Is this significant?

Trap etc all cleaned repeatedly Sad.

It's stupid. t was here hwen we moved in and is part of an integral worksurface thing, so no doubt v expensive, but just useless! You can't even run the hot tap full blast when the plug is in because the lever thingy gets in the way Hmm.

PestoPenguin · 27/02/2012 23:01

Profiteroles

Or just buy them Grin

Honeydragon · 27/02/2012 23:05

Is not the pipes or tank then? It's normally not good if it's with the water running. Hopefully some clever plumber bid will be here soon.

Oh Maryz you are in for a treat.

SecretNutellaFix · 27/02/2012 23:18

sounds like it's your tap/ the pipe that supplies it. Sad

littlemisssarcastic · 27/02/2012 23:19

Somersaults I have no idea how to make a banana milkshake and I only have one banana left now.

Somersaults · 27/02/2012 23:21

I don't know how to make a banana milkshake either! I'd cut up the banana, add some milk and a scoop of ice cream and then mush it all together with a stick blender.

Honeydragon · 27/02/2012 23:22

Banana + Milk + Blender = Banana MilkshAke

SecretNutellaFix · 27/02/2012 23:23

Honeydragon · 27/02/2012 23:24

Honeydragon · 27/02/2012 23:25

Nutty agreed, but I still drank one before bed every night when pg prevents leg cramps and indigestion!

reminds me of the miserable school dinners from primary school where it would be slightly warm and served with a shortbread biscuit. It was usually strawberry milkshake, banana maybe once a term. You knew when you were having milkshake and biscuit for pudding, as you weren't allowed any water on the table to drink during the meal.

Jux · 27/02/2012 23:28

Veet? Plugholes? I shall inform dh. Grin

PestoPenguin · 27/02/2012 23:30

Thanks Honey. The water is absolutely fine. It is definitely the sink itself.

banana milkshake

PBandJSandwiches · 27/02/2012 23:32

PBandJSandwiches · 27/02/2012 23:33

I mean, the way it was described here. Obviously I have opened a banana before!

Honeydragon · 27/02/2012 23:35
