To think that middle aged women are really a bit pointless?

What is the point of them?

Really?

I am a bit confused now. I came on to this thread believing myself to be well and truly middle-aged (49) But, with the exception of apostrophes, I don't see anything on that list that I am remotely concerned with. I would have said that this applied more to my Mum's generation (she is 79) and I expect she would be entertained that anyone considered her still middle-aged.

I want lots of those little gold stickers with my name and address on. They would be very handy.

5 foot I agree.

Coach tours ffs???

I still wear 4" heels (very occasionally if I don't have to move) and am partial to the odd spray tan. The very idea of Edinburgh Woollen Mill, glasses cases or petunias is a complete anathema to me (45).

I'm 23 and cannot say I really have a point. I also really care about apostrophes, waitrose, country living, quality streets and cardigans (pretty ones with dresses, not large M&S beasts).
