I have a very bad hangover and 'Manchester City' blue fingernails LOL. My friend Chellester's daughter put it on for me last night Ive got a Man City mouse on the PC and my fingernails keep blending in with it.

I so wish it would stop snowing I am verrrrrrrryyyyy bored with it now - got about a foot of it on the ground.

Shabs - been looking out teh window for you and your spotted hanky all morning...but maybe you are stuck in the snow? god knows how my parents are going to get here today, there is no way they will get up our road, it is white over and coming down in buckets!

I had to abandon my plans HM!!!

We have about 8 inches of it on the ground and it is still soddin' snowing!! Even Tom says he has had enough now

Cant see how my Mum and Dad will get here tomorrow - they only live about 3 miles away but the roads are so slippy....and as for my nephews partner who has a due date of 25th December....Gawd alone knows what will happen if she 'goes' while the snow is still here!

They are living with my brother and his wife quite a few miles from the hospital at the top of the steepest hill I have ever seen LOL My brother and my nephew have to park their cars at the pub at the bottom of the hill and walk up.........

ladies I am signing off for Christmas...need some space on the dining room table for the grub so the laptop is going away!

It's terribly icy here. I was talking to one of my neighbours about road salt and if she knew where to get some for our evil drive (I've fallen over twice this week) she said she had some at home we could have. I didn't fancy trudging down the ice rink hill so sent dh over with a bucket, imagine my surprise when he came back 2 hours later with a jar of table salt.

We're hoping the weather improves by Boxing Day so we can trudge off to Hastings then London to see Mars family.

Oops Happy Birthday Oooggs and belatedly to TKB.

Shabs dh has brewed some fairly blow your socks off potent cider apple juice which makes me think of you whenever he drinks some. I wanted to send some to you for xmas but the weather has been too awful to risk the walk to the post office, just want you to know I've been thinking of you lately while lurking and I'll pop some in the post in the new year.

Sometimes dh does something that makes me fall in love with him just that little bit more.

The dcs wrote a letter to Father Christmas tonight and left it in the fire place. DD1 was taken aback to see it magically disappear up the chimney and took herself off to bed early and without complaint. Dts were too busy eating quality street and watching Shrek to bother.

hi all

hope everyone has survived the festivities

Pixi - hard to believe the weather down here has been so cold - we were 'iced in' on thursday. Blimey I couldn't live any further north than Bristol

Well we have 3 children asleep and ds1 isn't far off - they are shattered (and so are we)

We have skated home from Chelles tonight....I walked on the road and Tom insisted he walked on the pavement. He fell and really banged his head....I hate this weather...its awful. I lived in USA and Canada for the Winter and it was not as bad as this.

I am exhausted, Christmas lunch was a nightmare, took me until 11pm to clear my kitchen up.Did nothing yesterday, in fact fell asleep at 5pm! Today Harry`s sister and bil are coming down and staying overnight we will be lucky to get to bed before 2am! Anyway hope all our new babies had a lovely first Christmas and you are all recovered!

wotcha shabs, very dsappointed Lews present never arrived, it will be three weks next Frid I posted it, got my proof of posting so will complain, there was such a lovely little cardie real shame, I seem to be so unlucky posting stuff. Right better go, beds to rearrange!
