very cute neenz - don't they look alike (I know they are twins ) but mine are so different

MERLYPUSS · 22/12/2009 20:48

Those twinnies are lovely. They are younger than mine though? Mine are 23 mths. They seem far more advanced. My two think they are both called Iyack.

MarsLady · 22/12/2009 21:18

another twin mum to be here. Babies arriving tomorrow

MarsLady · 22/12/2009 21:19

neenz they're gorgeous!

shabbapinkfrog · 23/12/2009 07:12

Morning girls xx

neenz · 23/12/2009 14:07

Morning Shabs (well, aft now)!

Thanks for all your kind words about my DTs - they are 19mo Merly. I think their speech is pretty good but nothing genius (unlike Shabs' grandson Lew )

It took me nearly two hours to get to work this morn (normally 55mins) - the roads of Preston are gridlocked cos of a tiny bit of slush! No gritting apparently so lots of slow driving. It took 1hr 15mins to go 10 miles . It better not take that long to get home

My CM is on hols this week so my mum is having the Dts today at my house, but my little sis (35wks PG) thinks she is in labour (second baby) and her husband is at sea till Jan 20 (six days before baby is due) so my mum has left my dad in charge of the DTs while she goes to the hospital with my sister. Not sure what the DTs will make of him cos they don't know him that well! Never been left alone with him anyway. He has four kids himself tho so I am sure he will manage! Fingers crossed it all works out well with my sister [bit worried].

shabbapinkfrog · 23/12/2009 14:17

LOL Neenz not genius - just a cheeky bugger monkey who has us all under his power

Ooohhh sounds exciting in your family at the moment - LOL at the thought of Teeto and Tester with their Grandad - sure they will all be fine

HarrogateMum · 23/12/2009 14:24

shabs - you done the Asda run yet!??

I took DD to nursery for the last time before Christmas this morning and me and the DTs got the train into town to pick up the meat. It was lovely all snowy and a big queue at the butchers...our butcher is hilarious, I do love the Xmas spirit when there are crowds of people in a good mood!

DT2 decided he wanted some black pudding after we had paid and walked out....what 5 year old likes black pudding? I said to him "do you know what it is" and he looked at me like I was daft and said "Pigs blood mummy".

Sometimes I feel old.....

shabbapinkfrog · 23/12/2009 14:41

DH went down to Asda for me we only needed fresh fruit and veg so it wasn't too bad - it only took him about 2 hours

Lew lurvvvvvvvvvvvvves black pudding - oh yes and very hot salsa dip??????

neenz · 23/12/2009 14:47

lol at the black pudding HM. Very different to E, who will only eat porridge, tangerines, grapes, toast, cheese, yogurt, sultanas, rice cakes and breadsticks.

So that's what she has. Every day

kathryn2804 · 23/12/2009 15:30

Just thought I'd say

HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Off to my mum's for Christmas to be looked after!! Hope everyone has a great time

triplets · 23/12/2009 18:16

Have fun Kat...............who would like me for Christmas? Its mental here, all sorts of things going on and none of them pleasant or happy. We need a party

shabbapinkfrog · 23/12/2009 18:18

Trips - make sure you are here by lunchtime Christmas Eve then we can sort out who is in the top bunk - me or thee!!! If you can do a Shirley Valentine head straight for the frozen North and come and stay with me

xxxxx

HarrogateMum · 23/12/2009 18:46

Trips - come to Harrogate, the more the merrier! We're having smoked salmon souffles followed by lamb, turkey, roasties, squash and parsnip bake, sprouts, brocc, carrots, then a very berry trifle...and poss cheese if we can fit it in!

shabbapinkfrog · 23/12/2009 18:47
bagpuss · 23/12/2009 19:42

Evening .

Sounds nice HM . We're having roast rib of beef with all the trimmings and christmas pud, not sure on starter yet, probably smoked salmon based though.

Kathryn, have a lovely time and make sure you rest up now.

Neenz, nice vid, your dts are very cute. I hope your sis and baby are both OK.

Shabs, my lot all like salsa too. DS1 also is very fond of mussels and knows how to prepare moules mariner .

Trips, you'd be very welcome here to help me with the night feeds participate in the festivities .

Just wanted to pop on quickly to wish you all a Merry Christmas and also a belated congratulations to Derv (I always seem to miss all the BAs ).

shabbapinkfrog · 23/12/2009 20:06

I wonder if history is going to repeat itself? My nephew and his partner are due to have Grace any day now - the hospital have said that if Grace isin't here by the 29th of December they are going to induce her Mummy.

Well....my twins were born on the 28th December and it took my Mum, Dad and DH a long time to get to the hospital because they were snowed in!! Just like they are now!

I certainly wont ever forget my Great Nieces birthday if she does come on the 28th!! My parents, especially my Dad, cant wait to have a little girl in the family! It has been 53 years since I made an appearance!

Im getting a bit too giddy thinking about it all xxx

oooggs · 23/12/2009 20:58

your Great Niece may arrive tomorrow on my birthday or even your neice/nephew neenz - its a great day

It's my birthday for another 45 minutes! Thanks for the birthday wishes on FB - I have replied, but I'm not very good at facebook, so forgive me if I've done it wrong .

Have had a lovely day - pressies, lie-in, breakfast in bed, bowling with the girls and then lovely dinner with DH. Off to bed now, and then lots of work to do tomorrow to finish getting ready.

If I don't get back on, have a lovely Christmas everyone .

Happy birthday for tomorrow Ooogs .

MarsLady · 24/12/2009 02:32
