Goodmorning, missed me? Been a very poorly girl, had that flu type cold last wek, thought it was gone, then on Sat felt worse than ever and not much better now. Sore sore nose, cough, very bad ibs, aching, fed up! Trouble with our broadband too. Don`t yer just lourve this time of the year? Will read up and catch up later, hope all is well on here xx

triplets · 15/12/2009 08:49

shabbapinkfrog · 15/12/2009 09:06

Hiya Trips - hope you are soon feeling loads better. Got your card for Lew and have passed it on - thank you xxx

frumpygrumpy · 15/12/2009 10:17

Pixi that is gorgeous!

shabbapinkfrog · 15/12/2009 10:25

You still around mighty Frumpster?

I was wandering through the wonderful land of online Asda shopping

Derv78 · 15/12/2009 10:58

Morning all.

Neenz hope you are feeling well. I found early stages of pregnancy hard with one toddler, let one two. So hope you are getting some rest.

Trips hope you are feeling better soon.

Curio hope your DH has decided to choose your comfy bed upstairs rather than boozing downstairs! My DH has no choice; we don't have any alternative sleeping arrangements!

Thank you all for your messages of congratulations. We got home on Sunday, and it was so lovely to come into our wee house as a family of five! Both Adam & Thomas are continuing to do well. Both are slightly jaundiced and are sleeping in the 'sunlight' at the patio doors at the minute. But both are feeding well so hopefully jaundice will improve soon. Guthrie test due today , hate thought of them being in pain!

Mars thank you for offer of advice/support. Am sure I will be calling on you fairly frequently! Have been keeping an eye on the latch and no cracks (yet!). Adam is hungrier than Thomas, but neither dropped a lot of weight before leaving hospital. The last two nights Adam has been waking every half hour or so over 4 hr period. He'll feed for a few minutes before drifting off to sleep (despite my best efforts to keep him awake). Any ideas as to why this might be happening? It's bloody knackering! Of course, he's sleeping sound at the minute.

Catherine has been a wee star since we got home. Very gentle with the boys, and wants to help. She gets upset when they cry & wants mummy or daddy to sort it out ASAP. Hopefully she'll remain as interested in them as she is at the minute!

Sorry, long post!!

piximontopofthetree · 15/12/2009 23:37

FG still waiting for a certain magazine sized package, is Father Christmas going to be putting it in my socking?

dt1 has taken to calling the big red man "Merry Christmas" she saw an add on the tv the other day and came running into the kitchen saying "mummy I just saw Merry Christmas on the tv". I love it.

The dts are so excited about the whole thing this year, they went to a craft fair a few weeks ago and picked up very cheap little gifts for each other.

We finished putting up our decorations today and dh got fed up of the tree safely protected behind bars and packed away the playpen. Of course I spent all day rescuing ornaments from ds3 who is very hogwildinquisitive.

piximontopofthetree · 15/12/2009 23:42

Mars Happy birthday to ds1. 17, oh I remember those days. I was travelling Australia on my 17th birthday.

piximontopofthetree · 16/12/2009 00:19

Momma can you send me the link to the santa website you mentioned the other day please honey.

shabbapinkfrog · 16/12/2009 06:54

Morning girls xx

1stMrsF · 16/12/2009 10:45

Morning everyone. Congratulations to Derv - terrific weights, well done you!

Curiosity, how on earth do you manage to post so often? Wait til they are 6 months and awake all the time...

Haven't been around much as my computer died - it was a full on blue screen incident, and I had to get a geek to recover my data (which did not include my address book so the Christmas cards are proving to be a bit of a problem...) and I can use the computer upstairs only when both twins are asleep rarely. So apologies for all the news I've missed and not commented on.

Getting sleep at night in chunks of less than an hour each time. Last night went like this: DT1 wakes feeds and goes down, half an hour later DT1 wakes and needs dummy/shh, half an hour later DT2 wakes feeds and goes down, half an hour later DT2 wakes needs dummy/shh.. repeat ad infinitum. I am SOOOOO tired.

Merry Christmas to you all and see you more in the new year when Santa is bringing me a teeny tiny shiny new laptop

neenz · 16/12/2009 13:45

1stMrsF - how old are your DTs? Sounds pretty normal with the sleeping (unfortunately!). It doesn't last long though so hang on in there.

I am at work today, still tired even though I am in bed by 9.30pm most nights. DS had me up at 4.30am tho crying and coughing so I gave him some Nurofen and he stopped crying after a few mins. I stirred at 5am, he wasn't crying so I went to check on him - he was sat up in his cot reading a book . He cried when he saw me so I just left quickly and must have gone back to sleep cos he was out cold when I went to wake them at 8am .

How are you today Shabs?

shabbapinkfrog · 16/12/2009 15:27

Hiya love - I am all toddlered (is that a real word) out All hail and respect to you multiple mums especially those with under 2's!!! 'Come away from the telephone Lew, Dont touch the remote Lew, Why are your pants wet Lew, where has all your juice gone Lew...................and on, and on, and on!!! LOL.

Looking forward to a Christmas break as I know my DS1 and his lovely DP are!

neenz · 16/12/2009 19:58

Yeah I know how you feel Shabs! I went to work today to get a break. Had to do bathtime on my own tho cos DH is at Anfield tonight and T was being a real grouch, didn't want to be put down - that's not easy when you have another child to look after too (as all on this thread will understand ). But they have gone to bed easy enough (still chatting and singing to each other now, an hour later).

Lucky for me my two are a bit slow so they don't give me as much trouble as Lew gives you!

shabbapinkfrog · 16/12/2009 20:16

I just glanced under my dining table On the floor there is bits of spag bol....bits of mince pie...a half chewed bit of banana - ah well going to leave it till the morning now I cant do anymore tonight!! Lew loves mince pies LOL.

triplets · 16/12/2009 21:39

Evening all..........cant say good evening as its blardy awful here, H in such a rotten mood, has been for days, boys up to their usual late night capers, he just goes up and bawls, I feel like a one way ticket to anywhere! Still feeling awful, cant shake this bug off, nose like Rudolphs, non stop work, desperate to get out!! Got his sister and bil coming down from London to stay Frd/Sat, just do not feel like it, but maybe it will do us good........ha ha.
One nice bit of news, I was made a great Auntie yesterday, my niece had her first baby, 8lb.1oz boy, named him Toby James, lovely! Sadly they live nr Birmingham so wont get to have many cuddles.
Shabs did my parcel for Lew arrive, if not Ill try to chase it up, posted 1st class last Frid. Debating now whether to go to bed or stay on here, what dy think?

triplets · 16/12/2009 21:41
