technical question

anyone's DS had their foreskin shoved back? Apparently they are born with them attached to the penis but then it should naturally detach over the first 7 years to allow movement.......

My DT2 is 5.5 and his foreskin hasn't detached yet. Not a problem as he is young, but its causing soreness. He is to go into hospital a week Tuesday for a GA to have it detached poor wee soul Just wondering about it........will start a thread.....

bagpuss · 08/01/2010 14:41

Afternoon everyone, was just popping in to say hi, typed a long post then deleted it. Shall I tell you all about my natural delivery .

Seriously, hope everyone is well, we are and don't have much to report. Still fed up with the snow and looking forward to the weekend .

Off to read the posts in more detail, will take ages to catch up!

neenz · 08/01/2010 15:07

Curio, at married middle class! You're probably dead right though. Do you think the lovely Mr J has left the hospital then?

Mr J gave me the Clomid to make the twins, was our consultant and then delivered them .

Due to an absolute weird coincidence a friend of my SIL's (a HCP) was at the hospital the day the twins were born and she was talking to Mr J, who said to her 'I must go now, I have to go and deliver and lawyer and an editor's twins'. That must have been us (although he was a bit far of the mark in that I am not an editor, only a sub-editor ). So yes I think there probably was a bit of married middle class nonsense going. A real shame cos you should get the same level of care whoever you are . And you are much more knowledgable than me on a lot of these things!

bagpuss · 08/01/2010 16:26

Still catching up, just wanted to say fg poor dt2, hope you manage to get the answers you need before his op .

Neenz/curio, our hospital is a wonderful mixture of middle class and chav (for want of a better phrase ). Kerry Katona gave birth to her last child there, complete with film crew I think .

HarrogateMum · 08/01/2010 16:53

we seem to have a fair number of ladies in the north...maybe we should have a mini meet up...for those who havent been on here forever, I organised a meet up way back in early 2008 in Birmingham, the idea being that it was sort of the middle of the country! As usual life got in the way so it only ended up being four of us (me, Estar, Tkb and snorris) but we had a great time! I know, we can have it at Shabs house in the centre of the universe!! (only joking Shabs, off back in my corner now....)

starshaker · 08/01/2010 17:52

Hi all mind if i join you. Just found out im having twins so excited and nervous. hope to see what its like from you guys

neenz · 08/01/2010 17:55

Hi Starshaker - this is who I was telling you ladies about yesterday!

Re a meetup, well I for one thought Farnworth was the centre of the world so I'd be up for a meet-up there What do you think shabs?

shabbapinkfrog · 08/01/2010 17:56

Hiya Starshaker - before the others here tell you awful lies I am the mature, rather posh one on here. I live in a quaint fishing village called Bolton, up t'North tha' knows!!!

Congratulations on your wonderful news - how far along are you? Have you other children?

neenz · 08/01/2010 17:57

Shabs, Farnworth is the centre of the universe, of course.

Nice snowy pics too shabs .

HarrogateMum · 08/01/2010 18:18

LG&T! Long time no see! They are fine...boys seem to like school but who knows. Just got them in the bath and noticed DT2 has school pants and trousers on, asked him if had had an accident, "no, me and Jack had a pee fight in the toilet and he weed all over my trousers".....nice.

DD usual crazy screechy self! But very cute!

Shabs - is there a Hilton in Farnworth?

largeginandtonic · 08/01/2010 18:19

Congrats Starshaker Twins are huge amounts of fun.

FG i remember it well Back toc ounselling you go. You need to find a happy focus in life. Just for you that is.

Like Shabs i live in a quaint little cottage by the sea. Just me. The twins have long left home and i sit here crocheting and sipping martini's all day.

largeginandtonic · 08/01/2010 18:22

How can she be 3 HM!! I remember asking to borrow her for a cuddle when she was teeny tiny.

I forbid any of them to grow anymore. It goes too fast

largeginandtonic · 08/01/2010 18:23

and PMSL (apt) at the wee fight in school

Boys!

bagpuss · 08/01/2010 18:23

mmmm, martini's

shabbapinkfrog · 08/01/2010 18:27

There is probably a Stanley Hilton or a couple of Gladys Hiltons in Farnworth - but the best we can offer, Im afraid, is the Half way house (for down and outs) at Moses Gate, Farnworth. Sure everybody would be more than welcome there.

bagpuss · 08/01/2010 18:42

at Stanley and Gladys. Will they put us up do you think?

shabbapinkfrog · 08/01/2010 18:56

Oh yes Glad and Stan are very hospitable - Im sure they will even make sub-title cards so you know what they are going on about!

largeginandtonic · 08/01/2010 19:01

Shabs is the hamster still alive?

We have 3 of the little buggers. Two you can't even pick up they are so viscious. One is the size of a small dog

We have also just added 2 Bearded dragons to the mix. They eat LIVE food. It is fabulous.

shabbapinkfrog · 08/01/2010 19:10

Awwwww Im afraid not. Cena the magnificent shuffled off to hamster heaven a couple of threads back - he wasnt very far off being 3 years old.

I sat here at the computer and kept seeing him come out of his house very slowly - at the time we had a thread that had a title about hamsters - then he gave me a look of 'please help me Mam' and just died!!!

When Tom came back from school, Cena, was resplendent in a plastic see through butter dish with bedding in. Tom sobbed and Lew tried to get the stiff little rodent out of the butter dish and kiss it. T'was a sad day at ShabbaTowers.

largeginandtonic · 08/01/2010 19:19

Poor old Cena

Although tbh if one of the little fuckers darlings was to pop it's clogs i may celebrate be very sad

Not the dragons though, they are cool. Jerry and Jolene (she looked a bot evil)
