ha ha HM. You are naughty. I went down the high road yesterday to cut some keys and accidentally bought some new boots (in the sale of course). The guilt is outweighed by the retail joy . Haven't bought myself anything for ages (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it).

Ruby, sorry about the stress of the court case. My DH is a criminal defence barrister (well, he is a higher court advocate, but it is the same thing) and I always feel so sorry for the witnesses they call. Sounds like a massive case.

I have just joined the August AN thread and there is a woman there who has just had a scan at 6wks and she is having twins. I am so jealous! Not sure why because I will DIE if I am pg with twins again but it just brought it all back to me how special it is to be pg with twins and how everyone makes a big fuss of you.

I certainly will enjoy my singleton pregnancy this time though [hopes beyond hope]

Hm I saw your plea to the triplets mum who wanted name advice. Maybe she's shy? Or maybe she dissed you because you didn't offer an opinion on her list of names! We found it tricky with a singleton, never mind with 3. DH and I have already had major differences of opinion on names. He comes out with completely crazy names just to wind me up I think....he was working with an editor last week who knew a girl who had had twins and called them...Bleep and Booster. I am not kidding.

Agree Ooogs that January sucks. I am v.grateful to DH that he's booked us a week away in the sunshine at the end of the month.

P.S. thanks also oooggs and trips for sweet comments on DD. I should update pics with something more recent as she is a walking, chattering, eating machine now!

Well we did get to the hospital, took us over an hour to travel 15 miles, snow worse here than over Margate way, got there dead on 9.30am for his appt so no hanging about which was just as well as the trio were with us, school announced its closure at 8.15am! Results on the 21st. Hope its just stress as the pain in my side is really sore today, a year last Oct its been going on, if it is ibs its a pain in the posterior Put a comment on FB last night naming no names about the credit malarkey, got a comment back from the mother asking if it was her son, so have replied yes, ells bells, I dont want problems, got enough as it is! I thinkwe all need something to look forward to, did someone say a meet up??? Ill bring the nuts

Oooggs when are you planning on going to Legoland? I'm surprised all the Windsor hotels are booked out at this time of the year. You could try looking at places in Ascot which is really close to Legoland.

No not going now [too bloody cold & they are shut]. Was thinking of a weekend around May, the accomodation problem is there is 6 of us.

dh & I, ds1 (6), dd (3) ds2 (3) & ds3 (15mths) (thats the ages they will be in May)

I have just emailed 2 B&B's to see if/how/cost and will wait & see.

Tom is not in until Monday Trips - although Years 10 and 11 have to go in today there is a great deal of debate going on about it on Facebook!! Taxi's wont come down our road, we can't walk up the road because it is literally a sheet of ice, Asda wont deliver, binmen, due today, will not be coming round, the last time our main road was gritted was about the 15th December - I HATE WINTER, I HATE SNOW, I AM SOOOOOOOOO PEED OFF WITH THIS YEAR SO FAR!!!!!

I am snappy with everyone, kids driving me nuts already, niece just text one of them asking them to go see her snowman, expecting me to walk them up there, its lethal out, oh hells bells, hibernation sounds sooo good!

Im sick of looking at my lot Trips 'Where did you put my shoes, magazine, computer game, socks?' 'What is for dinner, tea, supper, breakfast?' 'I dont want any of the shirts in the wardrobe I want the one that is not ironed yet!!'....and all of those statements made by DH Can feel a Shirley Valentine moment coming on xx
