I know there was no time and I feel all weighed down with the responsibility of it all, but here we are ladies, a new home...

Morning girls

shabster · 07/04/2009 07:56

Well Lewis has only been here an hour and he is on his 4th lap of the living room.

Stand up with the furniture - circuit the living room destroying everything you come across!! Pull the computer mouse off the desk as you go past...try to grab the hamster cage...quick pit stop to keep his eye on CBB's just in case Balamory is on...and round again

shabster · 07/04/2009 12:15

OHHHHH MYYYYYY GOD!!! Lew just took two steps - by himself - not holding onto anything. His face was like this NOW the fun begins!

Neddie · 07/04/2009 19:28

Hi all
Longtime no post- Just to say hope you are all well and that I had another scan- both doing great and look normal. Can't tell what they are yet. I am really huge already and I'm only 16+5 weeksI am looking forward to Easter as DP is home for a full four days . Still quite depressed and not sure how I will cope with everything on my own but I am taking each disaster day as it comes.
Easter happiness from Neddie to all

triplets · 07/04/2009 19:41

Well done Neddie and a happy Easter to you too! Well thats me well and trully looked at, just got the agony now of waiting the results, I am being such a coward. H is fine, got 2nd chemo this week. I would have loved to get away somewhere if only for a couple of days, anywhere. Havent bought a scrap of choc or anything yet for Easter, the kids get far too much, did suggest a nice book but it didnt go down to well. Started talking to my magnolia tree, am I barking?

piximon · 07/04/2009 21:41

Hey Trips when do you get the results?
I wish we were going away too. My dad wanted us to all go camping in Scotland but we never got around to organising anything.

Dh's birthday on Thursday, he's working so we'll be celebrating on Friday. Dcs are all over the place this weekend. ds1 and dt1 going to London tomorrow with my mum, dd1 already there with my dad. So just dt2 and ds3 till Monday. Am not sure how I'll cope with just two.

We were supposed to be going to an easter egg hunt on Sat but it's been postponed since most of the dcs won't be here to hunt for them.

Shabs walking already.

FG what are your reasons for wanting to keep them together? I can't decide if I'll keep mine together or split the days at nursery in Jan.

Mars When you're all done, schedule in some down time and come visit us. I have yet to go drinking with you all.

piximon · 07/04/2009 21:48

Momma did you mean to meet up next Weds when ds1 will be in London and I'll have the other 4? I have no plans for next week so can do it and did you want to post it on the meet up page or just a cosy twosome?

Right, now just to find something to be angry, sad and envious of and I'll have used them all......erm

I'm that I have no special plans for dh's birthday.

I'm that my driving instructor has been off for two weeks.

I Mars for nearly finishing her degree when I'm just starting out.

Good night girls - we are doing 'nowt' over Easter - too busy trying to save every last penny for Faliraki

shabster · 08/04/2009 06:23

Good morning girls xx

triplets · 08/04/2009 07:43

Goodmorning............well it might be if it wasnt blowing a hoolie and peeing down and I hadnt been awake all night and up since 6.30am! I stayed up late watching an old episode of the Thorn Birds, yes I know only me and Shabs will remember that! It was fate, it was my fav bit Shabs where Meggie goes to Matlock Island and Ralph goes to her...........OMG .........what I wouldnt give.......priest or no priest......... Hiya Pixi, no idea when I get the results, I guess in the next two weeks unless I hear otherwise..........worry worry. Got such an exciting day in store, going up to my brothers with the kids to tidy up his house as his daughter is down tomorrow for Easter, Harry is abit cross, but he honestly isnt well enough to do it. I dont mind, change of 4 walls. Oh Shabs, cannot imagine Lew walking, doesnt seem poss. What size clothes is he in now, would like to get him a few bits

triplets · 08/04/2009 08:14

Still no-one up, tut tut!

shabster · 08/04/2009 08:19

Hiya Trips....Lewster is 10 months old today! Think he is in about 12 month old clothes...will check with Ems and if its any different will let you know. Dan and Em had a 'Thomas' kind of night with him last night.....you know - the bed hopping and no sleep kind of night. He hasn't sat down yet and he has been here 90 minutes!! Round and round the furniture and then tried to climb up the computer desk

TeaSleepFood · 08/04/2009 10:17

LOL Shabs - keep on herding that boy!

Thinking of you Trips, and I know you can't help but worry, you've had the tests and if it's anything serious they will contact you sooner. In the meantime, there is nothing you can do and as my Pa says: if worrying helps, feel free. Slightly trite I know but you have so many wonderful things going on so enjoy them and change the things you can.

As for the Thorn birds.. I remember it well! I had a crush on the priest and thought Meggie was the most beautiful woman alive. It was at the ssame time that I discovered 'Lace'

Hi Neddie, glad your DH is coming back home where he belongs. I can't help but have thought of the playboy bunny with you after saying he was due home. I know you are feeling heavy and pregnant so naughty thoughts are probably far away but hey!

PMSL at Berlin being fun with beer and sausages Ooo-er Mrs!

Pixi, my DT2 likes the support of DT1. He feels safer if she's around. She is confident and couldn't give a monkey's if he is there or not. I want to give him the extra support until maturity catches up but I don't just want to store up a problem. Still mulling it over. Trips, what did you do? And Ruby, why did you want yours separated?

Does anyone else get horny the minute the sun starts to wake up Spring?

triplets · 08/04/2009 19:23

what d`y mean what did I do FG?

piximon · 08/04/2009 21:48

lol Trips FG is in a dilemma about whether to split up her dts when they start school and wants to know whether you split up your dts or let them stay together and how it worked out.

FG, I think it's really hard to decide in that case. Will one dt hold the other back because of dependency? will they do better apart? Have they ever been split up? My dts do very well apart, they are happier and calmer when back together.

My house feels so empty tonight. I went around locking everything up feeling really alone. Must be because there were only two goodnight kisses instead of the usual 5.

Momma would you want to go to Haldon? We have 4 spaces in our car if you were keen on the idea. Would have to try and find car seats though, most of mine are in London, have one booster and I think one suitable for a dt.

piximon · 08/04/2009 21:51

Mars was just thinking if you could ever commit to a long weekend down here you and the dcs could get a lift with my dh. He drives down on a Thurs night and back to London on Sun. Would give you a change of scenery.

oooggs · 08/04/2009 22:15

hello - I know its a long way off (as dts were only two last week!!) but they will stay in the same class together until they are in year 7 as they will be going to a school with only one class per year.

They have just moved up a class at nursery and will start doing things apart (this won't be forced).

On Sunday, dt2 (ds2) went off with ds1 and dh for a walk whilst dd stayed with me and the pram (ds3!!) in the middle of the field (she was tired). She kept saying 'Jack back soon' and looking for him. The other twins name is normal the first thing they say in the morning when I go into them (ecept dd sometimes say 'weetabix' first )

enough of my rambling

piximon · 08/04/2009 22:53

Hey Oooggs I was looking at my dts today (playing with collected rainwater in the back of their car) thinking how lucky I am to have them, twins I mean. So, so special seeing the pair of them playing together. I just love it.

When dt2 went to stay at my dad's last week first night dt1 said "no want dt2 back", next morning, "where dt2? want dt2 back, I miss him, I love him whole heart."
She's having her turn now so will see what dt2's reaction is tomorrow.

MarsLady · 08/04/2009 23:56

Let me get these two births in the bag Pixi then I'm all yours (and Momma's!)

triplets · 09/04/2009 08:10

Could you go via Deal and pick me up!

Goodmorning everyone, where are you Shabs?
H already out of the door 40 mins drive to the hospital, 5 hours of chemo, poor H
Kids all still in bed, I am washed and reasy to go, but no where to go, except its like Old Mother Hubbards here, the cupboards are bare!
FG I am with you! I had no choice, small school, 200 pupils so only one class per year. In Sept they are off to secondary where there will be over 2,000 pupils and 6 classes per year! So I have asked for them to be separated, they need it. The worst thing I found was the constant telling tales if one got into trouble in class, the tears we have had over the years about that! Looking back, if I had had a choice I would have separated them, because they would have been ok, every single teacher has said she has never known three totally different siblings, if one gets sent home sick the other two don`t even notice they are not there! Any help?

shabster · 09/04/2009 08:30

Morning girls.

Hiya Trips. Lie in this morning!! Dan has the day off and is looking after Lew. Then both Dan and Em are off and go back on Tuesday. Feels very weird without him

Will be thinking about you all today - hope H's treatment goes well. xxx
