Hello

As discussed in my previous thread, here's a space for those of us expecting twins who are due to deliver at East Surrey to discuss our experiences.

Anyone else expecting twins close by is very welcome to join us.

I'm expecting non-identical twins in May 2009. This is my first pregnancy. I've had my first appointment at East Surrey and have my 20 week scan on 30th Dec and my next antenatal appointment on 5th Jan.

Look forward to chatting with you

Yey saw a consultant yesterday for the first time!! Dopplers fine, CTGs fine - back on Monday and Thursday next week for more of the same and then meeting with consultant Thursday afternoon to hatch some kind of plan. Feeling much less stressed about it all.

So glad to hear that magnummum. What position are the babies in?

Both head down at the mo!!! Can't believe that by this time next week you'll have had your little girls Mrs F!

By the way this sunny weather has got me thinking - what have you done/are you going to do re sun shade for the Nipper?

Hmm, doesn't feel quite real to me either...

Hope they stay head down for you. I wish that once mine had turned I had spent more time on my ball and less time on the sofa - will never know whether it would have made a difference of course, but because I had such bad pelvic pain when they were head down, I probably did do a lot more reclining than usual.

Have bought protect a bub. Seem to remember doing some research on Tamba and here to ask what was most popular. The competitor, Shade a babe covers the whole buggy, including a front apron, but I felt that might be a bit much all of the time, and that you could use a blanket or something if you really needed to completely cover the whole thing, whilst this provides lots of shade.

Thanks Mrs F that looks great - had shade a babe for single buggy and she really didn't like being hidden away!!

Lara Megan and Alexander John arrived safely on Friday. She was 4lb 15 and he was 4 lb 10. Natural delivery - her in 2 hours 15 and him 30 minutes later. All home yesterday (I had complications) but doing well and totally in love with our little people. Now the fun really begins!
