Anyone on here had nosebleeds whilst they were pregnant? Em started with them about 2 weeks ago. They have sent her home from work today because it lasted 20 minutes. She has been given immediate maternity leave as she is 36 weeks today.

I have already googled it and they say it is normal and harmless. She goes to ante natal class tonight so they are going to ask about it. Her blood pressure was slightly up today as well. Will be glad when our Lewis arrives.

Not ruined in any way Tiggs - I had forgotten how fantastic that song is. When Danny goes on karaoke he always sings this to Emma. She sits there with a face like this

DS has a great singing voice, lucky devil

Timesofhope · 13/05/2008 16:15

Hello everyone!

Sorry I havn't been online for quite a while, after our weekend guest we have just been enjoying the sunny weather too much! Have to make the most of it before it disappears!

Still trying to sort out housing, but have a few more options opening up which we are pursuing so the range of possible houses is getting bigger each week!

Got my next scan tomorrow to check up on the babies growth, make sure theres no sign of TTTS and if possible we will find out the sex of the little ones! Just hoping they don't all have their legs crossed!

TiggerTonkerTruck · 13/05/2008 16:18

Shabs you would love my FIL he actually has a karaoke business...well he does the gigs

He always sings to DH's mother "Please release me let me go....."

Thing is I don't sing and the rest of the family do...probably because I don't drink....but when no-ones around I secretly have a go

Oh OH Oh....I meant to tell you Shabby have you tried Dirty Birds new perfume?
Now I don't normally go in for the celeb stuff but my SIL bought it and its REALLY nice!!!!!

TiggerTonkerTruck · 13/05/2008 16:20

How exciting TOH!!! The best of luck for tomorrow!! Let us know how you get on!!

Word of warning I was told all boys I have two girls and one boy!!! LOL

Don't worry we found out before the birth!!

snorris · 13/05/2008 16:22

Hiya!

Things a bit calmer here now. Dh off this week so we went out for lunch-only to the pub but delicious!!

Watch out Devonians! Dd1 and I plus pony are going to Devon County Show on Friday! Then of course I have the meet-up to unwind afterwards this weekend. (Must buy my train ticket).

TiggerTonkerTruck · 13/05/2008 17:15

We have to try and stop our Emma girls She has been tidying the house since I posted about the nosebleeds!!! Not just normal tidying - oh no - tipping out the kitchen cupboards, washing them, then putting the tins back in date order and neat rows!!!!!!!!

Nesting? Or just bored?

I did this the day before the mighty Tomster was born!!!!

She is 36 weeks today.

Will come back in a little while when I get permission from the owner of the pooter - Tommy

frumpygrumpy · 13/05/2008 19:50

Shabs, The Osmonds! That will be fantastic They all have teeth like this

You might be the woman to ask......I'll be in Manchester on the night of the 28th. Our concert is at old Trafford (Man U ground not cricket ground). Do you know what hotels are local to the ground? Google is bringing up the Premier Inn which looks ok but its full...... Failing that, what hotels are good and easily accessed to/from the ground?

Sorry if you haven't a clue, tell me to shut up........I have no idea of your proximity to Manchester and I'm assuming you are near enough to know....

frumpygrumpy · 13/05/2008 19:51

Oh she is nesting. I remember pulling out the bed and bedside cabinets the week before I had DD1. I just HAD to gut it. Tis great news! Nature is still working.

frumpygrumpy · 13/05/2008 20:15

DP is having a busy, busy, busy time. He's got his nose to the grind round the clock atm. Been working all the hours and burning all the candles. Accordingly I have been bringing him trays of tea and biscuits, and trays of homemade soup and beer. So in return, he has gone downstairs to prep and sizzle the stir fry (along with a Coke and some footie on the box in the kitchen) and I have been sent up with a glass of chilled white to "go and talk to your pals" Lovely boy. All is fair in love and war.
