Isin't it great Rubester! We ended up singing it really loudly at Josters last night.

Our three sons sat in the living room sniggering and quietly mouthing the words. Hope the N.S.P.C.C. dont find out

Takes quite a lot to make me laugh out loud but that did!!

Awww Rubes - that sounds wonderful.

My DH still has a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp, because Im going to see The Osmonds next Saturday. Think that he thinks if I go out of the Bolton area I will become a loose woman FGS. I already am

shabster · 17/05/2008 10:05

Trips your parcel just arrived! Made me smile when I saw Lewis' name on it. Thank you sweetheart. Just texting Danny to come and collect it. Thank you again

frumpygrumpy · 17/05/2008 11:15

Shabs, serve him a real wasp with beans. HUMBUG!!! You go. You have fun. You smile. You laugh. You flirt. You be happy. You be merry. You be you. You deserve it!!! xxxxxx

Pixi....my friend whose husband died had his body in the house the night before. I had my reservations...... The kids were only 6,5 and 3 at the time. It was the best thing they could ever have done. Brought them peace. The children that wanted to see him one last time did. The eldest read to him and chatted. The youngest looked and touched (he was warned it wouldn't feel the same but that was a good thing, it helped him understand daddy was with him in another way now) i.e. able to see and hear but not in his body. The middle child didn't go in but the door was kept shut and the lid down when moving in and out of the house so that worked fine. My friend, who remains utterly heartbroken, cherishes her memories of that night. It works for some. See what you think. xxxxxx Name gorgeous, love the family link.

Try to ride over DHs ex. It is history and of no consequence. You and he have a life now. She might be jealous of that life. You never know. Smile enigmatically and remember the power in that.

morning all. Just a quick hi before going back to bed. Just wanted to wave and say to the meetees..... have a great one. I'm sorry I fainted!

TiggerTonkerTruck · 17/05/2008 11:54

Meely sorry you aren't feeling too great.

Pixi, you are a very beautiful person inside and definately out. I am sure that the EX (remember what that stands for) is much more worried about you being there!!
It can also be very peaceful and theraputic to have an open casket in the house.
As long as no-one is forced to do anything that they don't want to I am sure it will be fine

Ruby have a great night!!

Shabs are all your pink frogs back in their box yet?

shabster · 17/05/2008 12:06

My pink frogs will never all be in the box Tiggs

Its official - Lewis is engaged - his head I mean not engaged to any young girl!!

Trips - dan and em just collected the parcel and all I can say is Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww and double Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Your generosity and thoughtfulness are so appreciated. Dan and Em will be in touch with you

MERLYPUSS · 17/05/2008 12:24

Pixi - sorry about your loss. And there was me harping on about my tales of woe.(rolling eyes, selfish cow, emoticon). Did you say you are taking the baby to the funeral? I really think it is a good thing to do. Life after death and all that. My sister took Jamie to my best friend's mums and it was a real healing process for the family. Especially when he kicked off, the vicar (? minister or whatever) told her not to dare take him outside as it was not only a distraction but it made people think that mum had made way for another life.
Feel a bit brighter today. Don't know whether to ring sis or not. She will know we are all thinking of Jamie so perhaps best not in case it starts the water works.
Anyone know about antihisthamines and b/fing? I am only giving the boys one or two feeds a day at the mo (very guilty emoticon)but my hayfever has reached such a point where I would consider giving up if it meant I could get some relief. I used to wear contact lenses but not in this weather and the corners of my eyes have spit and are weeping (nice)coupled with the usual sore throat, running nose, blocked sinuses and excema up (looking good here eh?). Would I be a complete bitch to put myself first?

shabster · 17/05/2008 12:31

Merly - Please, please ring your sister. Please, please, please. So what if everyone cries.....when you ring her blame me also send her my love.

Please do it right this very piggin' minute.

The worst has happened to her, you ringing will reminder her that you care.

shabster · 17/05/2008 12:32

Pick up that phone Merly - I will be back to check [bossy bugger emoticon] xxx

MERLYPUSS · 17/05/2008 12:54

Already have. We laughed. Am meeting her for lunch tomorrow.
Thanks shabster.
New photos on profile. Let me know if you can see them or if I am a total Numpty.

TiggerTonkerTruck · 17/05/2008 12:54

I vote with Shabs Meely, pick up the phone and blame Shabs if you get it wrong

What if she is sat at home thinking everyone has forgotton her dc? Perhaps she needs a shoulder. nothing wrong with sisters having a good cry together.

Shabs!!!! Shabs!!!!! Is he coming?!!!!!!

I am sooooooooooooooooo excited for you!!!!!!

Wooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!

Have you decided on your nan name yet? You had better hurry up!!!!

TiggerTonkerTruck · 17/05/2008 12:55

LOL oh good!!!

And why am I calling you meely?

shabster · 17/05/2008 12:59

Tiggs Tiggs calm, calm. Emma saw midwife yesterday and she says Lewis' head is engaged and she is delighted with their progress...she just went home and she is mahoosive!! From the back though she is a little skinny girly.

Either Grandma Shabba or Ya Ya Shabba. I love the Greek words for gran and grandad - Ya Ya and Papoose. Dan just tutted at me when I said I wanted to be Ya Ya. Right....its decided Grandma Shabba it is.

Glad you rang Merly and your pics are great.

I'M AT THE MEETUP!!

First here = most desperate to get out of the house.

There is the most beautiful iMac I've ever seen in my bedroom.

TKB just txtd me to say she's lost.

[sly] Shall I tell them what room I'm in or shall I just track people down and stalk them until they realise it's me?
