hello gemenaux welcome and congratulations it will take a while for the news to sink in! do you have any other children?

frumpygrumpy · 15/05/2008 20:39

Hi gem, come in, come in. We ^won't ask all the stuff you are about to hear over and over and over and we will help in any way. We talk a lot. Jump in anytime.

shabster · 15/05/2008 20:42

Will be back properly in a little bit - just wondered if anyone can remember what date I go to Faliraki? osmonds

gemenaux · 15/05/2008 20:42

I have a dd who will be 4 in August. All I want to know is how long does one feel crap for - but thats like asking how long is a piece of string, was quite quesy with dd - but this is really grating.... been asleep infront of repeats of Spooks all day!

frumpygrumpy · 15/05/2008 20:43

FGS Shabs'!!!!! I'm gone phone Dotster.......she's bound to know osmonds

iamdingdong · 15/05/2008 20:44

I didn't get any sickness I'm afraid, I just got extrememly bad headaches second trimester and very tired in the third (when we moved house )

frumpygrumpy · 15/05/2008 20:46

gem, I felt truly awful for ages. I had a DD when expecting my DTs too and I remember with her, the sickness had gone by 3 months. At the same stage with the DTs I did feel much, much, better than I had but I can't say I felt 100%. I tended to find one thing I could stomach eating and just eat a little of it throughout the day. Then, later, I felt fantastic!!!

Just you rest up as much as you can, don't feel guilty if you can't get out too much. Just sit with your DD and let time do its work.

gemenaux · 15/05/2008 20:48

Oh thank you. I too am moving in August.....mmm not such a good idea but cant be helped.

oooggs · 15/05/2008 20:56

I felt sick with ds1 until he was born (was only sick a dozen or so times)

With dts I was physically sick for 4 mths and then exhaustion took over

Is your dd starting school in september?

frumpygrumpy · 15/05/2008 21:06

gem, I moved too. At 8 months. Physically I was fit and well and able to scrub floor on my hands and knees. Emotionally I found it really hard. My body was aching to nest down and prepare for them coming as I packed up my life and moved to a new one. Try to get your head in the right place in advance if that could be you.....

HarrogateMum · 15/05/2008 21:37

I moved too - at 6.5 months preg with DTs....ha I remember emptying all the kitchen boxes and having to keep stopping from exhaustion then going back to work the next day. INfact the day we moved I had a 28 week scan and had to go to the dentists as well as moving house.........

Anyway - home with DH, he is ok, bearing up but worried about FIL having surgery before we even get there.

Thank you for all your kind words ladies.

shabster · 15/05/2008 21:38

Good Evening ladies.....Tomster is in bed....I am on HIS computer

Everybody happy?

Triplets - where are you?

shabster · 15/05/2008 22:44

Im going to say goodnight ladies - Kale Nita! Despite my daily tablets I have had two panic attacks tonight - luckily now I know what they are so they dont worry me anymore but they are weird. Think maybe a trip to the Docs tomorrow. Night, god bless see you all in the morning.

Welcome to our new ladies - exciting times for you xx

See you in the morning girls. xxxxxxx

triplets · 15/05/2008 23:01

Here I am Shabs.............got your mail, just got on here, had dreadful migraine and poorly ear, been to docs and have a prescription. H had a very low day, physically drained, not eating much, looks tired, but he has really been over doing things. Pixi.........so sorry...........just give him a hug and be there
HM, another shock, so sorry
And poor Mars!
What is happening to us all?

Shabs, I loved flower power, spent my time in SF singing that song
if your`e going to SF, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair...........ah heady days when life was simple and sweet.....

Been out tonight with Tessiebear to see a play, and now sitting here with a bag of roasted nuts, I know how to live dangerously!

Shabs....parcel for my honourary grandchild in the post!

Shabs. I don't like that for you.

Do you reckon its a build up of everything going on in your life lately or a repeat of a worry? Attack it with everything you have. It will pass. Keep talking, it cures everything xxxx.

triplets · 15/05/2008 23:03

Shabs...........sorry I have missed you,
Please feel better tomorrow, I`ll sing you a song

frumpygrumpy · 15/05/2008 23:09

I'm good trips, tired, but ok. I've been averaging 6 hours very broken sleep per night and that is no good for a gal whom sleep loves......Doing my Tesco shop now, NOT GOOD!!!

We will all get there though, we just need to keep life small and keep breathing deeply.

We need a focus. I'm focussing on Ruby's DP's 40th........ New dress anyone?
