Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
shabster · 10/02/2008 00:54

hiya mfgood - how are you this lovely evening? I have kept to the terms and conditions of my contract - I am here - sober and as stupid as always.

I am thinking about having a leg stretch - not leg wax. My little, short, fat hairy legs need some help.

shabster · 10/02/2008 01:41

Night night ladies - going to ogle (sorry google) Mr Robbie Williams - think I may have that illness when you cant sleep, cant remember what its called - oh yes and also alzhaimers

Chopster · 10/02/2008 07:59

hello everyone!
It's getting so busy in here, and rowdy

Thanks for sharing your story shabster. Lovely pics of your boys, they are handsome lads!

I sish I could have been at your meetup, jsut too far from ehre. I had a dream this week that everyone came here for a meetup, but I was so busy cooking I didn't get to spend any time with you and then you all buggered off!

Chopster · 10/02/2008 08:07

shabster · 10/02/2008 09:18

Morning ladies!

triplets · 10/02/2008 09:21

Good morning everyone,
Beautiful crisp clear morning here, sea looks like the Med, France shimmering on the horizon, na na na na na!! Two boys out at 8.30am to a party, ice skating, hopefully will be back in one piece! My 4yr old niece here after another sleepover, will miss her tomorrow when she goes home, she`s a darling! Dh in the shower, he has his hospital appt on Tues,me should be working but missed you lots as I was out all day yesterday! Had a really lovely day with all the family for Mums 80th, she thought she was going shopping, her face when she walked into the pub, for once she was speechless! Back to my brothers last night, boy did the booze flow, but I was a good girl, hic hic!Shabster, I could have cried reading your "story", even though I knew about your lovely boys. You and I though have come thru all of this, and found each other because of it, good out of bad, you probably know me and understand me more than anyone I know, yet we have met in real life just once. Sagapo Shabster x

shabster · 10/02/2008 09:28

Hiya triplets. Glad you had a great day. I cried when I did that last night (and I was stone cold sober) was ok until I put down that it was me and Dan (my 'lifesaver'). You are certainly right about good coming out of bad. We dont have to meet up we can cause trouble over the internet, or phone!! My mam says I can cause trouble in an empty house - cheeky mare.

I felt sorry for stringerbelle last night - wanders onto MN thinking there would be people to chat to and gets the village idiot telling her lifestory. Hope you come back love.

sagapo triplet
yamas (means cheers)
xx

Egg · 10/02/2008 09:28

Shabby (may I call you that), although I kind of knew your story from our brief chat on the other thread, I am sitting here in tears reading your post below . I honestly do think of you and all the other people who have lost a little one when mine are screaming in the night etc and it makes me realise I am lucky to have them sitting with me crying.

piximon · 10/02/2008 09:29

Shabster, thank you for sharing with us. Reading your thread made me cry and I don't know how you have got through (and still retained a sense of humour). I'm so sorry for your losses and glad you have joined our (now expanding) bunch of multiples mums.

shabster · 10/02/2008 09:31

Thanks egg I appreciate your very much - it has been many years since all that happened but sometimes it feels like yesterday.

Think that is why I am mad most of the time and love having a laugh. The more I convince myself that Im OK the better I feel.

shabster · 10/02/2008 09:33

thanks Piximon - only got this far because of family, triplet, and my children who are physically here.

Mine and Dans 'song' is 'No matter what by Boyzone' if you get chance listen to it and you will know what I mean.

Morning all - welcome to Stringerbell! I have boy DTs too, and also a little girl.

Shabster - I cried reading your story just now, thank you for sharing it with us, I cant imagine the heartbreak you have been through, am so glad you have come to join us on our thread.

Oh and Shabs - Steve is Frumpygrumpy - she is either a hairy arsed trucker, or she lives in a castle or she is Gabby Logan, we havent quite worked it out yet.

shabster · 10/02/2008 09:40

Morning MFGood - I really believe that the more you tell your story the better you feel. Its also very good to have a bit of a cry at regular intervals!!!! My lovely nan used to say 'the more you skriek (weird Lancashire word for cry) the less you pee!!

Yes she was in that mental ward with me as well, come from a long line of 'special' people

shabster · 10/02/2008 09:42

Hiya HMum - thank you.

Think you were describing me when you described Steve then! Think I will be the hairy arsed trucker if thats ok xxx

MarsLady · 10/02/2008 09:58

Oh feck it Shabby. You made me cry. I'm so sorry for your loss

and the pictures of your two boys (esp with Mattie's first love) are gorgeous.

Welcome stringerbell.

Gorgeous day today. I almost feel the need to take my almost 4yo DTs to the park. I reckon they should be able to not run off in opposite directions to do themselves damage don't you?

Well it's either that or tidy this pit.

The condolence calls and texts are coming in thick and fast. Feel a bit like a fraud getting them. Just trying to work out how to afford to get to the funeral, pay my share of the funeral and when it would be best to have it. I have to co-ordinate it around my family and half term. Need it like a hole in the head.

FG's PC is still playing up. She's really trying to get back online. She's missing us all madly... or is she just mad?

triplets · 10/02/2008 09:59

Most of the SW meet up!
Would love to do the Birmingham one, will have to wait and see how DH gets on with tests. This time next week I shall be playing Swallows and Amazons at the Norfolk Broads, already worried how I will survive a whole week with DH,DD,DS1,DS2 80yr old Mother, what will I do without you all, can`t even send a postcard to you! The thread is bound to have finished, wonder what the new one will be!

triplets · 10/02/2008 10:01

Poor Frumpy, but if she is so rich she has her own helicopter and lives in a castle why doesnt she buy a new pc? Cmon Frumpy it isn`t the same without you and you are missing all the newbies and gossip!

shabster · 10/02/2008 10:06

AAAAwwwwww Marslady said 'feck'

Ta for your thoughts love.

triplets · 10/02/2008 10:17

shabster · 10/02/2008 10:20
