Sok - Glad she finally settled.

DH had a bad night with Dieter apparently he was screaming for me all night and not even kangaroo care would calm him so DH resorted to desperated measures. He celotaped one of the old bf tubes to his chest and mimicked bf to get him to drink and settle... and holy crap did it work! So tonight we're swapping over and DH will be doing nights with Apollo so I can spend some nursing time with the twins.

MultipleMama · 24/11/2013 16:53

What a day. Feels weird being home when I've spend the past week at the hospital, happy to be home though. I missed my kids! I think Artie knows we're not near Apollo because she soon turned into a fussy madam.

I don't even wanna think about the packing we still have to do...

Sok - We use these twin reins. We got them as a gift. Didn't think I would use them but they're a life saver and can use one hand to hold the rein handle and will be when I have the twins home and I can be hands free. We benefitted from them. I think there are cheaper ones on the market though.

She smiled again! :)

The twins are the same Dom more so than Dieter. Dom starts to throw a tantrum the minute your arm goes under his bum to pick him up. If he's tired - he sits. Doesn't care where we are if we're tired he'll plonk his bottom down. Dieter walks slower and is still spooked by cars and other strollers so asks to be picked up and put down all the time! Lol.

Artie smiled again. She loves Raspberries on her stomach :)

Apollo is on IPPV!!! :) One step closer to home. We have been informed that he won't be home for his due date (3rd). So bloody proud of him though! Xx

MultipleMama · 26/11/2013 12:58

Also there's a picture of the boys on my profile, was looking through old photos and found DH's first "professional" photo he took of them.

Spent the whole of last night looking through photos on Memory lane. So emotional. Especially when I found one of my mum and I, taken when I had announced my 1st pregnancy. She was so happy, the only peace I found was that she knew she was having a Grandson and knew his name. F**k, I miss her.

triplets · 26/11/2013 23:25

awww Mama how beautiful, I wish mine were babies again, life seemed much easier. Fantastic news about Apollo :)
My dd is full of cold, cough cough cough...........I know she can`t help it but I need some sleep!! x

triplets · 26/11/2013 23:59

Does anyone know where I can buy a boys suit to fit 6ft skinny boys? My two want to go their squadron dinner and its formal dress! Can`t spend a fortune!!

MultipleMama · 27/11/2013 00:32

Have you tried Next? DH is 5"8 and gets his from there but he says they do them for taller people.

So quite some expected news and still reeling about it. Apollo's cardiologist called us in for a consultant this afternoon. He thinks after reviewing Apollo's notes and his prognosis that Apollo would benefit from a pacemaker and would like us to consider it. He would prefer to do it while he's young rather than wait for more complications to appear. Threw us for six, we didn't realise how bad his heart problems are.

Also Apollo hit the 2lb mark as well as turning 8 week old!!

Trips, what about topman? They cater more for the skinny side of things. I also have 15% off vouchers for friends/family (DH works at the head office for the group) for topshop or topman - I could post one to you x

Regarding ovens, I prefer electric, but it is the fan aspect that does bugger up cakes a bit. I have a twin oven so the top is convection and so if I want a perfect cake I really need to use the top one. Cupcakes are fine in the fan oven though.

Aw mama that must have been a shock. He is doing fantastically well though - 2lbs now! Love the pic too, gorgeous!

Still having fun and games with dd, she has now lost facebook altogether, and I threatened to move her school if she didn't sort her behaviour out, which shocked her a bit! She is slowly improving though, and did get an excellent school report which I was very proud of. DTs also had very good school reports. Not heard anything for ds1 yet, but he is very happy at senior school.

I've been keeping busy, hopefully will be doing my first half marathon next year! Ran 9 miles last thursday, and felt on top of the world after. Grin

Father came round today while literally a boot full of food. Apparently, my friends had rallied round and prepared us some meals to be frozen - all kid friendly too, also got a card from my old work friends congratulating me on thr birth. So for the first time since they were born I"m opening the cards and presents I got.

And with gift vouchers; I bought the Mamas & Papas globe rocker and the bath petal I wanted. Only thing with having previous kids is that I have everything I need!

How are you lovely ladies? X

triplets · 27/11/2013 13:04

That would be brilliant Chops, just tried to pm you and the site won`t let me, tried you as well Shabs Confused

Left dd in bed when I went up to school today. She has a cough and cold. Came back to find the bath full of chipped nail varnish, lights left on, clothes strewn everywhere, and for b/fast it looks like she had a Yorkie Bar, Milky Way and glass of coke!!!

Chopstheduck · 27/11/2013 13:23

I've PMed you trips, my email addy is in there too if you can't pm back, or you could message me on facebook x
