At 16 I was trying to get DH's attention! It worked but I was also working before starting college.

A few friends called and asked if I wanted to go out for a few hours, so I quickly got my machine out and made something! Going as a miner for NCB. Can't wait to go out on my alone for a bit. Put on my fake wounds and Dee completely freaked out crying his eyes so DH had to give him a bottle because he wouldn't come near me. Dom however keeps trying to peel it off. K is now in bed so gunna grab a quick kiss from DH then head out.

Have a good night ladies! Xx

MultipleMama · 26/10/2013 23:20

Home and showered. Had a great night but came home because I wanna be up early to take the kids swimming.

Someone, well a drunk handsy feely guy, tried to flirt with me tonight and didn't believe me that I was married even with my ring on so I gave him DH's number. DH just received a uncohert(?) message. Hilarious. DH told him to stop texting drunk and leave his wife alone haha.

Time for bed. Night ladies xx

Morning!! Hate winter, hate the bloody clocks going back!!

MultipleMama · 27/10/2013 09:16

Trips - DH is always understanding especially when he knows I'm faithful and trusts me. So, we always laugh about things. Last year, I got DH the cute nurses number because he was teasing me. Of course the number went in the bin but still haha.

Apollo's nurse is gorgeous! However he's gay. Dammit. We talked a lot about what we expected, what we hoped for, what goals we can aim for, and asked us if there was anything he could do to help us during those times. He was very honest and open with us. We discussed our concerns and he offered solutions. I really hope we can learn to trust him.

We discussed the holding situation and he suggested that if Apollo needed to be move either for diaper change or bedding and we were on hand. He would learn us how to pick him up and change his diaper sheet with a nurse to assist. So hopefully we would feel more hands on in his care.

:)

Hi All
Trips - that person with the firework was an arsehole!Angry
Shabs- its only people who aren't on and never will need benifits who make such stupid statements.Angry
Mama- Glad things are looking better with Apollos care now
Chops - hope you have a great day north of the boarderGrin
Soks/Ruby - hope you are having a good day.
My mum is improving, but my elder db and I have been taking care to be at the hospital during meals to ensure she is prompted with eating and drinking, as the ward staff are not doing this, they try, but they are just too few of them and too many patients needing help.Sad
dh is being a general arse atm, everything the boys or I do seems to be annoying him, and whatever we do is wrong.

triplets · 27/10/2013 17:15

Aw why are men such pita `s? Dark and horrible here, just lit the fire, roast pork burning in the oven (thermo gone) and my best friend in Cornwall has just phone to tell me that they are off to their island they bought in Nicaragua for Christmas, am I Envy , bloody hell yes!

shabbatheGreek · 27/10/2013 17:43

I am very jealous and I dont even know your friend Grin xx

MultipleMama · 27/10/2013 21:04

I'm sorry, did you say island?! very, very Envy Grin

I think most men were born grumpy and with a missing gene. DH swore at the twins today because he stupidly came home from a ride and left his helmet on the coffee table where the twins could reach. Of course the twins saw and new toy and started swinging and rolling it about.

Glad to hear your mum is improving, Bubs! xx

Sok, glad the babies are sleeping well :)

A'lo has his MRI tomorrow, and on Wednesday they hope to try and start to wean him off the ventilator. Then Friday we will be introducing breast milk into his stomach, and it's also the day I will hopefully get to have kangaroo care with him :)

Artie is doing amazingly well, a part from her size, you'd never guess she was a preemie, aside from needing a bit of oxygen and help feeding, she's doing great for a 31 weeker! Today she had 15 minute breast feeds :)

Can't believe they're 4 week old tomorrow!

triplets · 27/10/2013 23:03

Gosh 4 weeks already :)
Well we have the rain but so far its not as windy as forecast.......can you all remember the last hurricane? Big wall came down here around our estate, we have to pay for the upkeep of it. Cost us £333, one 36th of the cost........rebuilt it as bloody high as it was.........watch this space. Loved Downton tonight, thought Violet was brilliant!

triplets · 27/10/2013 23:05

Yes Mama her own island, bought it 6 months ago. Think there is a you tube video on it somewhere from he agents, its called El Coyol. Nicky is cross as her mangoes won`t be ripe for Christmas..........what a shame :o

bubby64 · 28/10/2013 00:17

Trips - can we all befriend her and join her on a holiday??????
Mama, cant believe its 4 weeks either!Shock
Wind starting to get up here now. That last big blow happened the night before my birthday, and, as my friend and I had been on a pub crawl around the 5 pubs (yes,5!) village pubs, we didnt know much about it until we woke up and the wall near my flat had been blown down, just missing my car!
Still to watch Downton as recorded, so dont say anything more!
I have taken 1/2 term off as i have a lot of annual leave to use up. just as well with mum, also, we have her elderly dog here, who, poor thing, has been quite stressed by moving in here with 2 noisy kids, 2 dogs (although she knows them), cats, which she isnt used to, and, worst of all, discipline! She is used to having constant quiet companionship, the run of the flat , being generally spoilt rotten, even sleeping on mums bed. She had started to howl if shut in the kitchen, but is grafually settling down, with the help of a DAP diffuser, she has even ignored one of the cats who was brave enough to venture in tonight, instead of chasing it!WinkGrin

triplets · 28/10/2013 05:03

Morning all...........wide eyed as usual, blowing a real hoolie out there. Thinking of the parents of the 14yr old that is missing...........
Thank God its half term and we don`t have to get up!

Nicky has great plans for her island. Its in Lake Nicaragua, its tiny, there are loads of them apparently. You can walk around the island easily, it will have 4 houses, one of which is the caretakers. Lush vegetation, nothing to do all day but swim, fish and lie in your hammock. It does not have a beach which is a great shame. Its a 10 min boat ride to the mainland where she says there are fabulous restaurants etc. You can also swim over to other islets! Her intention is to rent it for holidays but to one group at a time only, so its exclusively yours. That's really chilling out!

And now that I`m wide awake what shall I do??

triplets · 28/10/2013 06:34

someone go make me a cuppa please.............my God its wild out there. Can imagine what the sea is like!!

Morning girls xx

shabbatheGreek · 28/10/2013 12:09

Hope you are all OK 'darn Sarf.' We just have rain here - so normal for the Manchester area!!

triplets · 28/10/2013 17:23

Well yes it was windy but we have seen it worse here .Large tree came down just around the corner, no damage. Soooooo dark isn`t it? Going round the corner at 7pm to secretly meet up with my friends daughter who at last has come over from Ireland to try and sort something out for her poor mum who has dementia. Shabs have you ever heard of Admiral nurses, they deal with dementia?

shabbatheGreek · 28/10/2013 17:39

No I haven't Trips - to be honest my Dads carers (they go about 3 times a day for about 15 minutes each time) are driving my Mum to distraction.....before they have even gone out through the front door she is telling me that they are bossy buggers and getting on her nerves xx

MultipleMama · 28/10/2013 20:37

My mistake. They're 4 weeks tomorrow Blush

Came downstairs this morning to find the kids up and dressed and DH in a work suit. He forgot that his leave started today. And oh my lord, if he wonders around the house one more time with a lost look on his face. I will hit him. He's driving me batty. Poor thing is lost.

Good and bad news about A'lo. His grade 2 bleed has almost self healed but he now has a grade 2 on his left side. Other than that it all looks good which is wonderful news considering they'd told me to expect the worse and be prepared for abnormalities due to him having Symmerical IUGR. Also turns out he's allergic to Iburofen. So they're having to give him something else for the swelling.

I got hold Artie in the moby wrap today so I could walk around practically topless Grin. She also had 3 20 minute feeds on demand. So proud!
