And Shabs and Trips, you HAVE to arrange a multiples meet-up, none of us would be able to keep up with you!

Evening all............... ladies, been sooooooooo busy today sweeping up confetti, returning wine glasses to off license, and cutting up the cake, slice each on the trolley.........do help yourself :)

of course I would Trips! I arranged the last one....and we had a lot of interest but sadly there was only 4 of us in the end...me, Tkb, Snorris and Estar.....would love to meet the rest of you!

Then we will, my niece and her boyfriend have just retd from Harrogate, I could hitch a lift with them next time they go, Andys parents live there. How far are you from Shabster Towers d`y think? I think we should do a weekend break! Shabs travels light, just tassles and flip flops, I pack nuts and fizz, job done!!

I am going to be a party pooper tonight, slight headache and very tired, too much excitement this week, got Mother coming for lunch................a real treat for me..........................

know what you mean Trips, my Mum is coming here too, I have a 3 course extravaganza planned for her - crab and smoked salmon, leg of lamb and the trimmings, hazelnut and raspberry roulade for pud.

But my kids (DH) have just made me a bacon sarnie in bed so its all ok!

Rubes! Where should we have our meet up d'ya think!!?? And why arent you on honeymoon!

Rubester have a fab fab time, hope its somewhere hot!

Well my day..........awake all night with a headache. Came down for b/fast, table looked so pretty as Rebecca had decorated it. All gave me a card and a present...................three cards..........should have been four. Not a mention of Matthew and I felt so sad:(
Dh was going to do dinner, Mum and brother coming at 1pm. What he actually did was peel the potatoes and set the table. I couldn`t drink because of my head, really struggled. At 4pm H went out of the sitting room, plastered.....................went upstairs and finally re-appeared at 8pm after a little drunken snooze. Mother and Keith went at 7.15pm, I cleared up. At 8.30pm the phone rang, my best friend from Cornwall , floods and floods of tears. Emily her 27yr old "adopted" daughter was in a car accident last night. She is critically injured and has been taken up to St Georges in London, multiple head injuries, broken eye sockets, punctured lungs and bruised heart. She is on a ventilator. Poor poor Em, she is such a sweet natured, naive lovely girl. Life is not fair.

It seems that way doesnt it? Cant sleep, got to be out to the hospital at 8.15am.............just can`t stop thinking about Em. Night Shabs, love sent to all our boys tonight from their mums who miss them more than words can say....xx

Ems has finally changed her hours back to her beloved morning shift. It used to work really well - but that was before Tom was 13!!! So Lew was dropped off at 7am emoticon and will be collected about 1pm. I am already exhausted LOL. I am sure we will all fit in with each other soon but it was hard this morning!!

Hi Shabs, wish I was round the corner, I would come to play:) Emily is still the same, Nicky is going up to London today, just cant stop thinking about her and her poor parents:( Just back from the hospital, check up with the bowel man, all ok, doesnt need to see him now until Oct. Next appt will be repeat ct in mid June:)
Feeling tired myself, hence me sitting on my bed with the lap-top, lots to do but just feel abit yuk.
Hope Mr and Mrs Rubester are on their way:)
