Bonsoir ma belles.....well at last Kings have called him in. Got a call at 3.30pm and said "can you come now"? Caught the 16.11pm train and got to the hospital at 19.15pm! He phoned me at 9pm, said it was chaos, he has been put in a 2 bedded room, there is already another patient in there, but there is only one bed!!!!!!So he was waiting for them to find a bed.................I give up. Surgery should happen tomorrow, well see. I am feeling ok, just kids playing me up, nothing out of the usual but I just need some peace and quiet! Fingers xd for a good outcome tomorrow. Is everyone ok? Oh forgive my manners, drinks for anyone?:o

Hi spoke to him at 9am, he was minutes off of being taken down, seemed quite jolly! Now anxiously sat here waiting for a call, have stripped beds, cleaned from top to bottom, just having 5 mins before I tackle the ironing, must keep busy.............

Sorry girls, what a stressful day. Eventually got a call from him at 4pm, very groggy, was in HDU and in alot of pain. Nurses would only tell him they had taken a biopsy, not what we thought at all. Then at 9pm he called again, doc had been round and said that because the tumour was deep seated it was not poss to do keyhole and so it was open surgery in his back. All fluid and tumour taken and sent for analysis, results take about a week. Kids have really really stressed me since they came home from school, endless phone calls, am feeling emotionally drained. Thanks Shabs and Rubes xx night night
ps please help y/self to complimentary b/fast buffet:)

WHATShock............ooogs!
Sorry Im late doing the rounds today, been up to bring the patient home. Apart from being tired and a little uncomfortable he is looking pretty good, 2 days after open lung surgery! Hes had fish pie and a very large G&T! Now its the wait for the results of the tumour and the fluid they took out, doc told him today he prob wont get the results for 4-6 weeks when he goes up for post op check. Errr I dont think so, how can they keep him waiting tht long, its not fair. So I shall be on the blower if we don`t hear within two weeks.
