Trips...I am keeping it simple this year. Bought pate from Waitrose, posher stuff than normal and will just serve with warm rolls, chutney and some rocket.

Just been and picked up my goose, my butcher is hilarious, his phone rang whilst I was in the shop...."Ello!!! Its me!! Father christmas, how can I elp!!" - all in the broadest Yorkshire accent known to man!

Evening girls............I bought pate today as well! Cant be bothered now am really exhausted, been in the kitchen all night baking for my mum as she cant do it. H got shirty with me again tonight, he started to clear up the supper things and he couldn`t find a green pan scourer, so he lost it!! My fault of course, tried offering him a Brillo but no, he wanted a green scourer!! Oh my oh my..............

HM I saw a funny notice in my local butchers today, it was in the window and said,

DUE TO CANCELLATION I HAVE TWO BONED BREASTS!
Made me chuckle!

Trips - perfect! That would be the type of thing my butcher would do, he is such a scream. Well, its nearly upon us...tonight we are going to a party, lunch at teh pub tomorrow then family descending....there is a mountain of presents under the tree...cant get excited yet though, not sure why?

Yep I do!!! I am not ready for last Christmas - never mind this one!!

Crept................its dashed, like Donner and Blitzen............I do not feel Christmassy at all, and here we are, 28mins past midnight, its official, its Christmas Eve and there are still 30 stocking fillers to be wrapped up! In a mad 5 mins today I have invited 7 friends in for a drink after Christingle...........only I haven`t told H yetOh well......drinks at 6pm girls ok? xx

Christingle - Oh my word my Matty loved Christingle he thought it was wonderful. He used to practice the songs at home....I can hear him now 'Dis wittle wite of mine, Im gonna wet it shine, dis wittle wite of mine, Im gonna wet it shine.' Precious, precious memories.

I am getting the stuffing and the stock for the gravy out of the way this morning as its PUB for lunch!

PUB sounds good to me!!! I have, in the last few minutes, made a 'to do' list yes, I promise I will shift my lardy arse bum very soon!!

Wahoooooo! It is Christmas. We are all very excited in the gin house.

I am organised, only one thing left to wrap. Inlaws arriving soon.

My umphh walked out of the door last night - didn't notice it going to be honest.

My parents here for dinner tomorrow and Dan, Em and Lew here on Boxing Day. Both my parents and my son know I am useless at Christmas and they just grin and bear it. The dinner will be on the table at the right time, and the little party will be sorted for Boxing Day.....

Have cleared all the path from my house to the road. Enough snow to make a giant snowman....ouch, oh poo my piggin' back hurts now!!! Half an hour on PC is called for I think!!
