Blush

Got my slightly barking mad parents ringing me on the hour every hour saying 'not sure about getting up to yours for christmas dinner love!!' My God I despise Christmas!!

Here I am Shabs..............better late than never! Been away for a night!! Unexpected surprise from my brother and sil, took me and H down to Bournemouth on Sun, booked tickets to see Jools Holland and his band(wasnt a fan but now converted after seeing him live), nice meal and a night in a hotel! It was just what we needed as we were just about tearing each other to shreds. They has planned it all, and my eldest brother came here to look after the kids, who were of course angels for him<img loading="lazy" class="inline-flex mumsnet-emoji" alt="Xmas Hmm" src="https://www.mumsnet.com/build/assets/fhmm-88yL47iR.png">.Sat was stressful, the post came and H got a letter from Kings in London, it was from the lung consultant. It said he had made an appt for H to see him on Jan 10th, he had reviewed the scan and there was a new effusion on the left side. H started shaking when he read this, immediately thought it was a new tumour, after a quick google it means fluid in the pleura around the lung. Then we got another letter from school about Thomass attendance! It was very shirty, said he had dropped below the expected 90%, it is 89.8%!! The only time he has had off since Sept is this last week, he`d had a flu bug, phoned them Mon and Tues to say he was ill, Weds he went back, at 11am they phoned and sent him home and said to keep him off the rest of the week, bloody cheek!Sounds pathetic but those two letters really upset the day!Still got loads to do before the big day............everyone else ready?

Morning girls xx

OMG Trips I sooooooo wish you could see Lew. He is hysterical. I wrapped your pressie up and put big sparkly bows all over it. When they were going home last night I gave it to his Mummy and said 'Please will you send this to Father Christmas for Lew?' His eyes were like saucers. 'Wats dat Andma?' 'Its a present from Grandma Peace for you' 'Awwwwwww Andma me wov dat Andma Pieces'.

Sounds like a fantastic night Trips - glad you enjoyed being away together.

Tom went on referral at school for exactly the same thing. He had two days off, went back in for a day, got sent home, another day off etc etc. I rang them up and said 'After all the bullying he has experienced at your shitty school and now he is being punished for being ill.' Told them to stick their referral up their arse!! At the borstal he goes to they loose 2 attendance marks per day they are off and it quickly mounts up. Maybe its the same at the school where Tom is? Dont let it worry you sweetheart. They do stuff very differently nowadays (and not for the better, might I add.)
