Could a £200 bonus ball payment really take months to trace?

pay on a group every week for the bonus ball on sat it's £5 . my number came up in Feb, now the lady's saying she sent it but my bank had said no £200 came into my account. so the lady says it left hers but didn't go into mine, now she's saying it's could take months to sort it out . is she pulling my leg here I'm Lloyds she's Halifax bank. this the second time other time it was for £90
so I had page credit but I could do with the £200 .

Ask her to send details of the transaction so you can check that she sent it to the right account.

me too but I've got proof she hasn't paid me by screen shots etc .

no she gave me that back in page credit, because she told me she had sent that. but never was in my account,now she still owes me 200 since Feb 14th when my bonus ball came up...

just a page on FB where she does loads of raffles numbers etc to win cash and other goods.

She hasnt sent it and youre likely not the only person she has scammed! According to Google small claims might not be successful as those lottery bonus ball facebook things are not legal. Id threaten her with it though!

this is so illegal. It’s against Facebook terms, and to run raffles you need a gambling licence which I’d bet my last fiver she doesn’t have.

demand she pays you and start doing the lottery instead.

Surely after the first time you don’t get your win you know it’s a scam.

Put a post in the group asking if anyone else has had a problem with winnings being paid.

I've just found out she diddled someone out of 500 last years should of been 1k I'm not sure if she's got a license because she's been doing this since 2019 told me payments come out of business account so maybe she's legit but don't know for sure

She 100% doesn’t have a licence. Raffles have rules and this set up doesn’t adhere to any. You will need to sue to in small claims court to get your original payments back if you genuinely thought this was a legal raffle / lottery. I’m astonished you continued to play after she faked to pay out your £90

Were the ones she paid out much smaller amounts by any chance..?
