Sofiewoo · 24/04/2025 16:51

Longhotsummers · 24/04/2025 16:53

6.8% public sector.

Pinkfluffypencilcase · 24/04/2025 16:54

4/5pc can’t remember which. Public sector.

Shudacudawuda · 24/04/2025 16:55

13% which i think is pretty good for private sector

MoreChocPls · 24/04/2025 17:05

What companies are paying over 20% in addition to employee contributions??!!

SlagPit · 24/04/2025 17:07

5%. It's shit. It's the maximum they'll contribute.

People moan about the public sector but Christ the pensions are good in it. I'll be working til I drop, can't afford to retire.

Same for me (university staff) but I pay an additional 2.5% as well

Furryscoob · 24/04/2025 17:23

My employers currently stealing my contributions, they never get to my pension provider.
Feeling quite jealous of most of your lovely employers

dizzydizzydizzy · 24/04/2025 18:15

Practically nothing. 3% I'd guess

Wolfpa · 24/04/2025 18:16

AlphabetBird · 24/04/2025 18:17

What element of public sector is this?

baggyleggings · 24/04/2025 18:17

16.5% - independent school which has been forced out of TPS. Appreciate that this is a good deal compared with most but not what I was promised when I started teaching 28 years ago.

Loveduppenguin · 24/04/2025 18:18

10% and I pay in 5%

Hubblebubble · 24/04/2025 18:18

Mine only does a maximum of 6% matched contributions, and that's on the so called enhanced scheme

Dellomana · 24/04/2025 18:25

The legal minimum - a charity of course.

sofasoda · 24/04/2025 18:26

Local government, teachers, civil service, police is 35% I think.

cantshapeup · 24/04/2025 18:30

6% - head of the finance dept so did try pushing for more in the last budget but didn't get it past the trustees. Mind you did get the higher % payrise through of 2 options put forward so cant win them all! This is a national charity.

TeenLifeMum · 24/04/2025 18:32

23.7% - NHS.

Lovelydovey · 24/04/2025 18:33

Defined benefit so difficult to quantify but around 40%, non-contributory on my side. But it's changing....

sofasoda · 24/04/2025 18:33

@Lovelydovey what industry is 40%?
