I've taken most of mine out and put it in the growth bond. Have to say I am excited about the draw this time. I have virtually no chance of winning as have under £2k left, but there's always a chance..... The last few months, I've just felt like I was throwing money away as I could have been earning interest.

HappyValleyFan1 · 27/09/2023 06:04

I've been thinking for a few months about pulling it out but I think I might give it until the end of the year.

We've just found out we're expecting #3 so either 1k for some larger purchases or £50k+ to cover their childcare until they start school would be welcome this month 😅🤭

Ohmylovejune · 27/09/2023 09:11

Congratulations!

FiveShelties · 27/09/2023 09:50

@HappyValleyFan1 Congratulations and the very best of luck.

CaveMum · 27/09/2023 10:16

Congratulations @HappyValleyFan1

We’ve just purchased our PB’s so roll on the November draw!

Whattodonex · 29/09/2023 07:04

I’m giving it until the end of the year and then if nothing significant on almost FH then I’m taking half out and putting it somewhere I’m guaranteed at least something. Fingers crossed everyone!

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/09/2023 14:14

Does this mean if they haven't rung me by now I'm not a millionaire? Could really do with a win and a million would be ideal...

Wrapunzel · 29/09/2023 15:01

I had a missed Ring doorbell and no card left so got excited but it was my neighbour who'd picked up some shopping for me at a special shop Blush

Justhereforthechristmasthreads · 29/09/2023 15:33

I've read agent millionaire visits the day before the first working day of the month (including weekends) so it will be sunday for millionaires I think @Blondeshavemorefun as Monday is 1st working day of month

Good luck everyone

I've got fingers crossed. I've received smallish amounts almost every month since January which are automatically reinvested. Plus if I have anything left in my account at month's end when I've paid my bills I transfer into my premium bond account for the following month's draw. I'm saving for some work to on my home next year so a reasonable win would be lovely. 🌹

Happiestathome · 29/09/2023 18:15

My understanding is that it is always over 3 consecutive days, due to agent million visiting on weekends if required.

Sunday - millionaires visited
Monday - big winners list published
Tuesday- app results

Sewingdufus · 29/09/2023 18:33

That’s helpful @Happiestathome thank you.

Does anyone know how long it takes to withdraw money please? So from when I disinvest to receiving the capital?

I believe its up to 10 days. The first I did, it took 3 days and the second time was just over a week. The second time was a far larger amount though, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it. I think there are quite a lot of people cashing their bonds in at the moment.

derrydee · 29/09/2023 19:06

Pleased its not till Sunday - the dream lives on!

Madcats · 29/09/2023 20:11

I am sat at home, bracing myself for a deluge of teenagers, but am just wondering what sort of snacks and booze we should have in preparation for the Sunday "millionaire messenger"

Do you think they come armed with snacks and booze?

Good luck all

Months fly past if you are on this thread!

Guess we will never know when millionaire day is unless we win the million

Blondes if (when?) Agent William visits me I will 100% come back to this thread and let you know, so that the question can be answered for once and all!

LuckOfTheDrawer · 29/09/2023 20:49

I took some PBs out recently - it only took a few days. If you log in online, you can set it up to do it after the next draw.

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/09/2023 21:53

Thank you @RockaLock That wouid be very kind of you

Plus if you would like to give me £20k I would appreciate it 😂

It's a deal, I'm sure I can spare £20k from £1m!

Yes, I think it's only fair that one of us lot on the thread gets the visit, just so everyone knows for sure about whether they happen on weekends Wink

DeepfriedPizza · 30/09/2023 07:56

I am a chronic over thinker. Last night I decided that I couldn't meet agent William in my house because of my barky dog. So I was running through all my options. The local coffee shops and pubs are a bit noisy and if we met at a friend's house I would need to give them money. I didn't make a firm decision in the end. Maybe a bar in a hotel would be quieter

Eaumyword · 30/09/2023 09:15

I too had fitful rest last night imagining AM/AW was coming to us! Would be soooo amazing.
